Lakers Offense

Post#1 » by Goudelock » Tue Jun 30, 2015 7:56 pm

What will it look like? Will it be fast-paced or will it be slow? Personally, I just want to see the team run up and down the floor, and score a ton of points by spamming Russell/Clarkson and Randle Pick and Rolls in the half-court with the occasional Kobe iso at the elbow every once in a while.

Of course, BS will probably end up running the OKC offense at a snails pace.

So you're big on the Mike D'Antoni method... defense = scoring more points than the other guys.
If more people thought like I do, the world would be a much better place.

Lots of ball movement, make the extra pass for a better shot, run in transition, lots of screens to penetrate the paint, 3 pt shot.

I don't think Byron Scott will do any of those things.

I doubt anybody here is concerned about the offense - regardless how much the the lanes are clocked, How much passing there is - Whether or not we play full speed or half court - with the team Lakers have and assembling the offense will be fine and we'll probably be top 3-6 in scoring ...

The question should be on Lakers Defense

rofl, what makes you think the Lakers will be a Top 6 offense with 2 sophmores and a rookie starting, and Byron scott who notoriously runs a slow paced offense, not to mention Kobe ain't going to be running up and down the floor. Be realistic, this season is going to be a fun project to watch develop
