We have a good group of people who post on this forum regularly, but I am curious to know what is on the minds of those people who read here but do not post regularly.

The draft is over and Free Agency begins tonight at midnight. What should the Rockets do?

I no longer lurk here and it does seem like a few new posters are coming around.

Eventually folks will come over from CF since the platform sucks.

-The Rockets will look to leverage their flexibility to create max cap space (dumping Ariza

) to force a sign and trade of one of the big 2 (Love or LMA) or less big 1 (Milsap).

-Atleast 1 of Brewer, Smith, and McDaniels will not be back. Possibly all three.

-Beverley is a wild card. If we get a big fish, he will be back. If we don't they will try and offer him a one year deal at a high cost. If he signs a Bradley type deal and it takes us out of the running for Durant next year, he will be gone.

Llull probably comes over with the MLE.

I don't see any reason to post here, because it's a dead forum (especially compared to, say, Raptors forum). No fun to post and never receive any kind of reply.

It's gotten better and the discussion here is usually pretty good.

I wouldn't consider it a dead forum even if not as busy as some of the others. There are certainly others with much less traffic.

Hey if you think this place is dead check out the (1st place)Astros forum! Me and Mr. E(or is it Mr. E and I? Sounds like a movie title) take turns talking to ourselves over there, it's quite a lovely place.

Yes, we are the Astros forum. The problem there is that I don't think that people are ready to believe that Houston still has a pro baseball team.

Even the Astros talk on Clutch is pretty minimal.

Random thoughts

The Suns are cleaning house for a LMA push. Let us help them... They traded away Marc Morris for nothing and still need more room --> Tucker or Kief needs to go. Kief for Jones gets them were they need to be. Kief is a rock soild player on a Hell of a good contract (took less to get his brother more. Marc is the one in trouble with the law right?) this would fix the 4 spot and rotation of bigs, too. Let Smith walk or take a low ball offer.

Kendall Marshall on a low ball deal would work...

The Bucks need to be a trade partner with us: Bayless or Innis

I hope PatBev gets paid well... As a Rocket fan it would suck but as a humanitarian--> seeing an underdog get theirs is priceless

Re-sign J-Smoove/McDaniels and trade for Lawson then call it an offseason. Maybe bring back JET.

Our first offseason without major turnover in 5 years, hopefully the talent and continuity can carry over into a title run if we can stay healthy.
