Is this thread going to be full of whining Knick Fans missing out on suspect players? I see mad of the rosters yall want to put together with FA, and the majority of them are trash.

im not sure blowing our wad yet is a good idea. Let the big guys fall out of play and take the big market teams outs of play.

Hope Love goes to LA and eats up all there cap space.
If we can't sign Aldridge hope he goes to SAS (makes Danny Green more available)
if we can't sign DJ hope he goes to Dallas and eat up all there space.

That is 3 bigger market teams that would now be out of play.

Good Defensive "GSW" squad, should make playoffs

what, no no no no no

the tallest guy on the court you want to be 6'8? We aren't playing in the WNBA!

And no way Carroll or Milsap make that little $$$. Milsap is talking about a deal in the 17-19 million dollar range bro.

Lol what you got against the WNBA bro lol.. I wouldn't mind a woman oh nvm

Slow up bro... you can resign Aldrich and maybe Ajinca.... like GSW you don't play 48 minutes small... it depends on match ups.. if you are killing them small you play small if not you go big... Millsap was basically Atl backup center... D.Green the same for GSW... Sullinger for Boston...Thompson for Cleveland..etc.. common sense

When Orlando picks up Millsap, we should look for a S&T Deal Tobias Harris for Calderon. Maybe a win / win for both sides.

I'll make my yearly "FA signings thread" today. We need one where the OP has a list that gets updated constantly. Already I am lost on who has agreed to sign where, as I'm sure others are. We need to be organized.

Here we go lol. Run on the market! shamm is right about that. Prices will go up for the top handful of guys invariably. But is Greg really a top guy overall, as opposed to just in this free agent class of bigs? I am doubtful.

Slow-footed centers who can't shoot and are not going to defend at a high level. Seems like the NBA of years ago. Why not try to find a Draymond Green? Skilled big with slow feet -- seems we got that with Willy Herny.

There are good reasons Greg did not win in Detroit. Not all his fault or even close. Not none of his fault either.

Millsap a low key guy. No way was he coming to the big city.
I get the same feeling about LMA.

I wonder what he will cost though... I'm ok with him at his max, but would be awesome if we somehow got him cheaper.

Yeah I'm not touching Milsap for what he is about to sign for with his age.

I think Phil's patience will play a huge role in this. One that early crop goes we will be left with the most $$$ and can get some leverage back from the FA's.

Right now the FA's have all the leverage because they have multiple options. Once options start drying up you can use your $$$ more prudently.

Now there is some risk because the quality of players might be lesser but you might be able to get 3-4 solid impact pieces for the $$$ instead of just blowing it on 2 guys.

I figure we have 27.2 + 1.5 million release of cap holds + 2 million more than expected cap raise gives us 30.7 million

we can give Monroe his max, give afflalo 1 year at 7.5 and start David West at 7.5 for 3 years.

Where's that deal that said ORL is paying Millsap $17 million?

Oh yeah no doubt -- that's basically the biggest effect that comes out of a thing like this. Roster improvement? That's a separate issue.
