Maybe the assumption is that a creative offensive players are the need right now. If anything Vogel has proven that he can coach a defense. An offense... well...

If we did go after Lin, looks like we're going from best defense in the league to not caring about defense one iota. Ellis and Lin in, with West and possibly Hibbert out?

Damn is Lin that bad defensively? He's never been a lock down defender, but he does have good hands on D IMO.
