We probably dumping salary for sure, Tucker is probably gone. Bullock might get kicked to curve, we probably parting ways with Wright, MoBros might be in trouble

Re: Sun agree to terms with Tyson Chandler
Chandler is the guy that we needed to mentor Len. Tyson will be out of the league in a few years, and thats when Len will finally be developed enough to be the starting C that we need. We really lack (and have for a while) a good big man coach. Chandler is perfect for that role, and is the exact guy that we need to help mentor Len for the next few years.
Very very smart move by McD.
Swinging that deal and automatically having him in the Aldridge meeting is pure genius!
Bledsoe/Goodwin
Knight/Booker
Tucker/Morris/Warren
Aldridge/Morris
Chandler/Len

Re: Sun agree to terms with Tyson Chandler
I love this move. Chandler will be able to mentor Len, especially on the defensive end.
I'm curious as to why Chandler being in the meeting with LMA is useful though? They haven't played on the same team before have they? Are they friends or is it like "We have this guy now, imagine playing beside him!"

OMG! YES! I wanted Tyson Chandler here so bad..... 8 years ago. That said, I don't mind the signing, we need more vets to teach the young ones.

Re: Sun agree to terms with Tyson Chandler
Tyson is an older katt, Len will get playing time. Tyson will be huge for us in short streaches. He and Len will be a great one two punch at C. The money is high, but it seems to be the theme of the day with the cap going up next year. The number of years is scarry but wait and see what the opt out years look like and who has the options. Probably have a team option in year 3 if our past signings are any indication.

Re: Sun agree to terms with Tyson Chandler
I like it. & The Sun's staff will have Tyson feeling awesome.
If you get rid of $ on the books & sign LMA, that's a very tough starting 5.

Re: Sun agree to terms with Tyson Chandler
it's gonna be a bad deal in year four, if not sooner. no doubt.
but for now it's real nice. and we're paying him enough that he won't have any hesitation in helping Len surpass him on the court. good vet presence. a champion.

Re: Sun agree to terms with Tyson Chandler
Love it! Have no idea why we think aldridge is coming here, but more power in the paint, and a veteran at this, is always good!
