Kobe to Dwight: Stay and be my sidekick. I can still teach you alot about bball.
Kobe to Pau: Man, stay, you are a great side kick.
Kobe to LMA: You can be my sidekick, just like Paul was.

Hahahahahahahahahahah! What a way to recruit.

already met the spurs

Perfect. They brought a 37 and 39 year old to recruit him. I like our chances. Especially when McD tells him that Parker screws teammates' girlfriends.

I got that the Spurs are favorites and all but I just don't see why. Max the Spurs have for a championship window is 1 year max. Father Time is undefeated.

In a year or 2 from now the Spurs are back to ground zero and in rebuild mode. LMA will be smack dead in the middle of a rebuild. I don't see how that is appealing.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!

If LMA says no, we keep Kief, and roll with him as the starter with Amare signing to come off bench.... leuer behind both. Sad but true.

Be hilarious is Chandler deal was contingent on LMA, and he chooses Spurs.

Then tomorrow we wake up and it's like it never happened.

I already know one of the big forum arguments for this season:

The Pollyannas: "Chandler is mentoring Len and making him better and more mature!"

The Nellies: "Chandler is keeping Len from playing full minutes and slowing his development!"

Spurs also have a reputation of drafting well and putting the right pieces in place. So that point is pretty much moot.

Where would everybody put our % of landing Aldridge at now? Before Chandler i'd say a generous 5% Now i'd say a legitimate 35% perfect veteran center to pair with him.

What is the connection between LMA and Tyson? You guys sound like having Chandler here is gonna have an impact on LMA's decision.

Reports are that Aldridge looks up to Chandler as a player. I think they are more so friends than anything... they are only 3 years difference in age.

For most of the next 4 years:

Bledsoe, Knight, Chandler will be better than Parker, Ginobili, Duncan.

So he'd be going there for Leonard.

Obviously the Suns thought so or they would not have brought him into the meeting. Again, Earl Watson is LMA's close friend. I am sure he knows what players would best appeal to LMA.

No, it's not. LMA isn't a kid anymore. If he wins a ring this year, and Duncan, Manu and Pop all retire (and believe me, Duncan and Pop are going out together. Pop might move to front office though), It's basically him and Kahwi Leonard, which is a nice foundation, but not even a playoff team. It would take probably 2-3 years to get back to competing from a championship even if they draft wonderfully. Which would basically be the end of LMA's contract.

Suns met Aldridge with Robert Sarver, Lon Babby, Ryan McDonough, Jeff Hornacek, Earl Watson, Tyson Chandler, Eric Bledsoe & Brandon Knight.

Lets say we do get LMA, couldnt we in theory play Kieff at the 3, get rid of Tucker. I think with LMA and Chandler you could get away with the Morii at the 3. Or just get rid of Tucker and the Morii and let Warren start, he should probably be starting anyways. Plus knowing the Morii after going after LMA im sure Kieff has some hurt feelings at this point just wondering how the Suns are selling him on this knowing if it falls through they have to rely on him.

If Bledsoe is there then we must be keeping him. Surprised PJ wasn't there.
