This.

Spurs are in the lead I bet but Suns are making a solid push w Chandler signing + Watson coaching.

If he signs here we'd be a top 4-5 team in the west

Man this puts me in a pickle, for I really hated watching Chandler do moving screen after moving screen. Do I hope he stops doing them, or do I hope he continues to get away with them, and admit I'm rooting for a cheater?

Next, do we have enough money to go after LMA? Chandler takes up most of our cap room, so just trading Marcus and PJ doesn't seem like enough.

I just don't see how he doesn't go to San Antonio, as badly as I want him. I guess it depends on how badly he DOESN'T want to play center.

If the Suns sold him on a future of being "the guy" in Phoenix for the next 5 years then I could see how that would be appealing.

That's right. Lead the team (SUNS) and create your own championship or piggyback on the Spurs and maybe win a championship in a small window. Tough call. Longterm would be better in Phoenix.

No center, a fat Boris Diaw. A bald Manu Ginobli. Untrustworthy frenchmen. Timmy is on the brink of retirement. Popovich can very well be retiring soon too.
I'm trying my best to make it seem like San Antonio doesn't make sense, but realistically I still think they are in the lead.

Semi-retired starting five + coach. Injured Parker. Above average talent (Leonard/Green). They traded away Splitter. I'm not finding the appeal.

Suns sign Tyson Chandler, LMA likes the move, Suns now number 2 in the LMA sweepstakes

The last thing that McDonough whispered to Aldridge in our meeting was... "Tim Duncan is the best PF ever to play the game, enjoy playing with him".
Genius.
