Well the chandler signing is now a waste.

Exactly....Since he has no reputation to keep, why not put that out there?; then he can say he told us so and act as if he is an insider.
Weak!

No kidding. But in all likelihood he has no sources and is just making a safe gamble to try to boost his status.

Is he not meeting with Dallas or NY? I find it hard to believe he just suddenly let this slip.

Looks like a Euro reporter. Wonder if he has inside info from Parker

The guy looks like a doosh who no one would tell anything to, especially breaking news...I'll stick with Stein for now

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
to those wondering who that guy is he's trying to get followers by breaking news before it happens. Nothing to see. once it's reported from Woj/Stein/ etc then we can believe it.

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
Only the Suns would give a 4 year, 52 million dollar contract to a 32 year old, who plays the same position as the the their only good young prospect, Alex Len. I would much rather had Wright back for nearly a third of the cost. He is 5 years younger, and plays both power forward and center, thus not taking away Lens minutes.
You do not spend 52 million on Chandler, just on the off chance it may help you land Aldridge. They are not going to pay Chandler 13 million a year to come off the bench, or play limited minutes as a starter. The way I see it, Alex Lens development is going to be hindered by this move, unless they plan on playing him as a power forward. Classic Suns move, ignoring the future to try and be relevant now. Tyson Chandler, alone, will not move the needle of this team. We will be in the same place as last year, just stuck paying a ton of money for a "veteran presence".

Exactly.
Why would LMA say anything.? Ex'ing out competitors before meeting all suitors is not very business like.

And aside from that, he has never broken anything that could be considered significant.

Yup probably worse than last offseason. At least we didn't mortgage our financial flexibility and only struck out on FA targets we only met as a formality and knew we had no chance at. But the same strategy of putting all your eggs in one basket. But hey I guess the cap is gunna rise so its all good right?

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
All that David Pick guy does is report on Euroleague basketball. I do not see any posts about the NBA other than European players possibly coming to the NBA. Now suddenly this random reporter has an inside source into LaMarcus Aldridge's camp?

Yeah, we should be patient now. Woj is probably the only guy I trust now.

Do people pay you trolls to come on this site and trash the Suns every move?
I just don't see how such bitter people end up on a fan site.

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
I think he will hear everyone out today, sleep on it, and then announce his decision tomorrow.
Or hopefully he already has his mind made up and is just waiting for Dallas and NY to give their pitches before he signs with the Suns tonight.

He told LA he didn't want to play there. I think its fair to tell people when they are out of the running. Peyton Manning did it to us, and Lebron did it to us.

Yes you do, especially if the guy averaged 10 and 11 last year, plus worse case, Len play the 4. Primary goal was to get LMA and contingency plan was play Len at the four.
