4/44 wouldn't be bad at all for Lopez.

Ainge can play a guy like Amir until February and trade him because he's essentially a mercenary on an expiring deal, or he'll trade him in the early summer to a team looking to cut $12ish million in cash.
Smart.

Stauskas, a 1st, 2 pick swaps for two contracts that weren't that bad?

Not even that into Stauskas but three future picks coming from the category 5 **** hurricane that is the Kings... this could end up being the worst trade of all time. They'll write songs about it and make rules to prevent it.

Surely that has to land someone - otherwise they have to wait for a disgruntled star who wants to leave in order to progress or hope one of their young players turns into a superstar (which to date does not look promising).

Only way they land Simmons is if they win the lottery. Nobody is trading out of the #1 pick.
