OT: CoCo Vandeweghe calls Carmelo Anthony 'soft'

And with him taking such a high salary, I think that kind of handcuffs the Knicks in being able to get those types of players that are getting big contracts. There's no way around that."

I had a friend of mine send this to me. She obviously doesnt know what the hell she is talking about, but stuff like this just adds to the continual mocking of the Knicks and everthing and everyone is associated with it. "Hahaha a female tennis nobody called Melo soft." But these are our fans, supposedly.

I don't think Melo is soft, I think he's on dimensional and lacks heart, hence he plays no defense and not a team player who quits on coaches and teammates if he does not get his way....but soft nah....

Melo ain't soft . Has never been , plus he is one of the only superstar I know who doesn't flop . Can bang inside as well . She definitely , confuse the killer instinct with soft . Hopefully , we can get a impact player like a LA so melo can get some help and not be the only one who can score 25-30 pts a nite.

I don't totally disagree with her. Don't think he's soft, mentally or physically. Mentally soft people can't play in NY (lebron, Dwight howard, etc.). And he's physically tough, just look at how he plays.

But yes, he doesn't have that killer mentality that guys like kobe and Jordan have. That's why he won't win a championship, at least not with those types of players around him. She's definitely correct in that aspect.
