Wonder what those picks are. Still like Bullock.

Not bad for the Pistons. Morris is on a decent contract and can contribute. He'd have gotten more than $5 million a year in this free agency I'd imagine. Wonder if this is also the Suns trying to split them up after that incident.

split it between KOQ and Marshall

Not big enough. We don't have the full non taxpayer MLE, we only have the Room MLE which starts around 3m iirc.

Free agent Kendall Marshall recovering well from ACL injury, expects to be ready for training camp

Free-agent guard Kendall Marshall has made rapid improvement on the rehabilitation of his torn anterior cruciate ligament and expects to be ready for NBA training camps in October.

NBA executives tell Yahoo Sports that Marshall's most recent medical reports indicate that, barring any setbacks, he will be ready to return for the start of training camps in October.

"The rehab has been going great," Marshall told Yahoo Sports by phone from Chapel Hill, N.C., where he's working out at the University of North Carolina. "I've started to do close-out drills and changes of direction. We've been aggressive with the rehab and I'll be ready when training camps open.
"With this injury, I know some guys have had setbacks, deal with tendinitis, and I haven't had any of that. It's been a smooth process. By the time August and September comes, I'll be getting fully ready for the season."

Marshall, 23, tore his right ACL on Jan. 15 for the Bucks and had surgery in early February, ending what had been a promising start to the season for him. Marshall had become an important part of Milwaukee's rapid ascent in the Eastern Conference, playing productive minutes behind Brandon Knight at point guard. Teams say they've been impressed with the analytics of Marshall's impact on the Bucks lineup a year ago – the difference with him on versus off the floor.

I'd go with Marshall over Ennis and it's not even a tough choice for me. Marshall has one elite skill and was solid from 3, Ennis didn't show me anything last season.

Ron Swanson wrote:Surprised at all the "get rid of Ennis" type posts. Only 20 years old and hasn't had even close to a full season in any consistent coaching environment. I'm not dumping him just to bring in a slightly more expensive Marshall fresh off an ACL tear.

Not sure if referring to my post or not, but I was merely responding to the notion of trading MCW. If we were to trade MCW, and name Vasquez the starter, we would need to do better at the backup PG position. Especially after signing Monroe. But if we still have MCW and Vasquez, we don't absolutely need to move Ennis because he's not going to see meaningful minutes.

I only watch 82 Bucks games and bits and pieces of other games per year, but, yeah, samesies.

Ennis is worthless on this team if we have Marshall. Same reason they had such an easy time cutting Naters.

suns made this move to have the space to offer lma the max. But also to get Marcus off the team. The Morris brothers just didn't behave themselves on or off the court last year. Marcus is the one facing more serious charges in the fight because supposedly he was the one throwing punches and markeif was only not letting people film it on phones. Both facing felony charges.

Not really much of a Suns fan, but would rather they get LMA than the Spurs. Spread the wealth.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Suns need to get off Markieff Morris/PJ Tucker in sign-and-trades or dumps to get closer to space needed for Chandler and Aldridge.

Can't believe Aldridge would pick Phoenix instead of San Antonio. I guess he wants to be the guy, but he will be the guy in a year once Duncan retires.

What would it take to get Markieff Morris? If its a straight salary dump, would JOB and Gutierrez be enough?

Morris is owed $8M per through 2019. don't know if it's worth it.
