Plz do 1 more nap and we have Aldridge

actually I would MUCH rather he sign with LA than San Antonio. It's makes the spurs worse and I just don't see the Lakers contending even with lma. Plus an added bonus would be the Lakers being semi OK and that pick traded for knight won't come back and haunt the suns.

Is Gambo credible anymore? I thought he struck out most of time on the latest draft and no longer has inside sources...

Gambo nailed our draft, actually.

Dude is hit/miss but man when he hits he HITS

Exactly. He gave a list and he nailed our draft choice.

Beyond Blazers, only contender for Aldridge that he's clear about organization, about role for him: Spurs. Everyone else, still questions.

Ugh.

We're about to get screwed by the Spurs again, aren't we?

I hate that franchise with a passion.

I presume you only do this if LA commits first not with the hope he does.

Sigh. I don't know if it's been the losing culture that has infected our suns....but I've always been pessimistic of our chances for any victories in free agency or during the season. This quote enforces that idea. Aldridge is probably a pipe dream. But i am very happy we got rid of Marcus...so small victory, weee

What does that even mean though? How could he not be clear about our role for him?

IF Aldridge passes on the suns, i have to wonder what we have as a backup.

We will have traded Marcus/Bullock/Granger for nothing (which i'm perfectly fine with), and there is no way that Markieff stays and we just sign Chander, so that S&T has to happen. So that leaves us with no PF at all. David West and Jordan Hill would probably be my best guess.

I'm reading this the same way. Our last hope will be the second meeting assuming we get one. How is he not clear about where we're going? Makes no sense.

Seriously why would Aldridge even consider the Heat? That team does not have a chance to beat the Cavaliers if the Cavaliers are healthy. Sadly Wade is injured so often. Dragic is completely overrated. Whiteside is a good player. Deng is very inconsistent. Bosh just missed last season because of those scary medical reasons (hope he is okay now). If Aldridge went there, what are they gonna do? Put Bosh on the bench? No way. They just signed him last year for 5 years, 118 million. You do not bring a guy making almost 24 million a year off the bench. So that means Whiteside is going to the bench. Well Bosh is not a center. Aldridge does not want to play center. And why do you want Aldridge anyway if you already have Bosh and Whiteside? The only thing I can think of is a sign and trade of Aldridge for Bosh and I have no idea if Portland would that. And still, a lineup of Dragic, Wade, Deng, Aldridge, and Whiteside does not compare to the Cavaliers. I wonder why Aldridge wants to even meet with the Heat.

Why would the s/t have to happen? We have 0 reason to trade him at all. We will just absorb Chandler into the cap and move on.

Just because he has questions doesn't mean McD doesn't have answers. We need to get him in for a visit. We need him to sit down with our medical staff (they can talk about all the ways they can lengthen his career), tour our facility, tour the city, really give him the full court press.
