We should have around $1.5mil cap space left
trade bayless to DEN for Foye's NG contract and get $3mil cap space

sign rebounding, 3pt shooting PF = like Davis or KOQ AND we are set!!!!

Monroe / Henson / Zaza / Plumlee
Giannis / Davis
Parker / Dudley / ingliss
Middleton / Mayo / Vaughn
MCW / Vasquez / Ennis

GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!

2nd or 3rd seed in EAST 2015-16 season

Future prospects. He wants a championship. When Duncan leaves, how much will that affect his chances? Clearly a lot in his mind.

Bledsoe and Knight were part of the meeting to bring Aldridge in. That's pretty important in the grand scheme in terms of saying here's two young guys were building around. SA is ready to win now, but that whole dynamic could change as soon as Duncan leaves, whether Popovich leaves with him. It could come down to Bledsoe + Knight vs Leonard
they are also selling that with chandler and len he would NEVER have to play center. And trying to sell that if he wins in Phoenix he would be a god here where as he'd always be in the shadow of past champs in sa. Not sure if it will work but that's what they are selling.

Plus phoenix is a nice place to live in the winter and the club scene in Scottsdale is pretty fun :)

I'd LOVE to get PJ Tucker as a backup forward.

Back before I was old and married with a kid I used to see athletes out all the time hitting on fake ass scottsdale skanks.

Who is left for them to sign? Rondo?

Rondo / Gay / Cousins.

Karl will never want to coach in the NBA again.

Funny thing is I bet it works on the court for a little while until you find out everyone is throwing haymakers in the locker room.

Blazers already agreed to a deal with Davis for 3yrs/$20M. I don't think we can sign KOQ for less than $6M per without having the Magic match.

If he signed with San Antonio, they probably win the championship next year, or come darn close to it.

Parker/Mills?/Joesph
Green/Ginobili?
Leonard/Anderson
Aldridge/Diaw
Duncan/x

Even when Duncan retires, they can pursue someone at center so Aldridge doesn't have to. Maybe that is Adams from OKC or Ibaka even. There are tons of options. Milutinov perhaps steps in 2 years from now. I'd be pretty confident they can attract a future PG in free agency too when it comes to that. If I were Aldridge, I'm not sure I'd want to play with Bledsoe (who possibly won't be there if he is in the S/T) and Knight.

According to Woj, Kendall Marshall expects to be ready for training camp. I'd love it if the team could trade Bayless to make room for him.

Not that their opinion matters, but, ESPN gave us a D on the draft but they would have to give an A for what we have managed with Mids and Monroe so far this free agency. Beautiful for Milwaukee, I love seeing the hype for this teams future and respect from other fans.

Those are accurate analyses, on both accounts. Nailed both of their offseason moves, but Vaughn was a reach value-wise, and I'm regretting passing on Grant even more so now with the signing of Monroe which was aggressive but he's another non-shooter in the lineup. Vaughn can shoot, but is 18, plays sg, and is optimistically a 6th man, so how does that help the shooting of our starting lineup? Grant would have been ready pretty much immediately, still grown with the team, can play pg, and has more realistic potential to start, so he was much more apt to improve the spacing of the starting unit now and going forward. So ESPN's opinion matters just a little more now in my book.

BTW, those are ironic grades for a typical Milwaukee performance. You expect about the opposite.

I haven't seen this answered yet, but with the Monroe signing and Dudley opting in earlier in the week, we still need to clear a few million to make the Monroe signing work, correct? So can we cut a few people or does it need to be through trade?

It sounds like they're still going to move secondary players because they have to, but the starting lineup of MCW/Middleton/Parker/Giannis/Monroe is probably set as is because Edens was just on the radio talking about how continuity is important to them. Maybe they move a backup like Henson however. Or he could stay and it'd just be guys like Gutierrez, JOB, and Plumlee leaving instead. But I'm still hopeful they move MCW, as he's a big problem in the starting lineup, IMO. The one thing standing in the way of us being very good off the bat, and possibly as long as we try to ride it out with him. We'll learn eventually, just don't want it to come the hard way, rather be anticipatory.

I thought we got a B on the draft and a D on the Vasquez trade from ESPN?

So SVG is trying to recreate his Magic team and just went and got himself his prime Dwight. Or at least what passes for prime Dwight on the streets of Detroit these days.
