Deal

I'd be a little upset if we give up a first with Kief, his production to pay ratio is pretty damn good.

In this scenario we'd be getting a first. I'd much rather trade Kieff elsewhere than do a S&T for Chandler, because Kieff has value. We could just clear the space instead of the S&T.

If we strike out on LA, are there any other FA PFs left that would be worth it to go after? Save the capspace and try again next offseason?

Not sure how McD is doing it but everything he does is so sneaky. No leaks or rumors just transactions.

Beyond Blazers, only contender for Aldridge that he's clear about organization, about role for him: Spurs. Everyone else, still questions.

He cancelled the Knicks meeting. Why would he do a second meeting with the Lakers unless part of him really wanted to go there?

It's not that outlandish. We've had quite a bit of roster turnover recently and we haven't made the playoffs in years

Please Aldridge just sign with us already!
Then we can sign Amare, bring back Nash & Marion. Give Ray Allen a call and tell em the run and gun Suns are back and he's welcome to join! Give it one more shot guys!

Well if we don't get him I don't think it's worth trying to spend $20 million and then S&T for Chandler while losing guys like Kieff and Tucker.

In that case, I'd just use our cap space to sign Chandler, keep all our players, and use the extra $7 million created with the Detroit trade and maybe sign a cheap short term backup 4 (but we still have Leuer) and maybe a backup pg or sg.

But we could save it to pick up assets from teams salary dumping or to take back more money than we send out in a future trade.

I like the idea of somehow bringing Amare, Nash, and Marion back to the organization in some way (bench or assistant coach).
