Every time I hear about Pat Riley talking to a FA we've been linked to, I get a sick feeling in my stomach.

I just don't get it. Wouldn't LMA have to take a massive paycut to play there?

WTF?? Did Stein make a mistake or is this some kind of sick joke!?

Why would that be a sick joke? Simmons, Lowe and Rose were predicting before injury he might get like 5/80 or something.

Because I'm an idiot and mistook Wes Johnson with Wes Matthews lmao

I did the same thing.

Supposedly Miami would do a S&T with Portland involving Bosh.

But who doesn't want to take their talents to South Beach?

Galo and Harris are not PFs. Monroe is played at C because he's too slow to guard PFs. I would only agree with Milsap, Green, Griffin, Davis, Horford and Ibaka.

Randle/Parker/Noel? Those guys are not better than Markieff right now. Could they be? Sure, they more than likely will be. RIght now though? Randle and Parker are coming off major injuries. Noel still doesn't have an offensive game to speak of. I kind of feel like you're either trolling the guy a bit or you just hate Markieff that much.

I mean, I literally said "J Parker/Randle/Noel (not as good but I'd still take them over Kieff)" about those guys if you would have quoted my whole post

I don't hate Markieff at all and I'm not trolling. I explained my reasoning in the post. If any of those teams offered a 1 for 1 swap of those guys for Markieff I would take it and I'm pretty sure most people would as well

One of the biggest things working against Miami at this point is the legacy that Lebron James left behind. As much as we've heard about LMA wanting to be the man and the face of a franchise, imagine the pressure of trying to live up to Lebron's Heat.

Supposedly Miami would do a S&T with Portland involving Bosh.

Wow talk about showing no loyalty. After Bosh turned down the Rockets for the Heat in the same summer LBJ left them high and dry. And Bosh coming off a serious injury too.

We should trade for Bosh instead if that's the case and let Miami just sign LMA outright then.

This is ain't happening. Just slimeball Riley up to his classic tricks because MIA has to keep their repute of always being major playa in free agency.

I really don't think trading Bosh is part of the equation. Doesn't seem like Riley.

Right, if a S&T was to occur, it be because Bosh's condition has gotten to be real bad, and if that's
The case, why would Portland want him

If LMA falls through, here some comparisons of guys I'd like to see McD consider...

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&y1=2015&p1=morrima02&y2=2015&p2=oquinky01&y3=2015&p3=harrito02&y4=2015&p4=biyombi01&y5=2015&p5=acyqu01&y6=2015&p6=onuakar01

And those are the FAs, there will still be some potential trade possibilities for a young talent at the 4 that we could bring along--guys that were drafted within the last couple of years, maybe?

Nonsense. Some of you guys over-analyze the hell out of that concept. They want a ring and wanna get paid doin' it. Rare are the breed who actually gives two craps about legacy and carving out their own for a franchise that lacks it.

Can we start a trend on twitter? #LOLKINGS it's hilarious at this point lol. Wes Mathews turned huge money from them to take less with the mavs. They sold picks and stauskas for nothing lol

Just because he didn't play there primarily, doesn't mean he can't or hasn't--he did a year or two ago, right? Even when coming out, he was considered a tweener.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Tobias-Harris-5740/

Here are some quotes/URLs that say otherwise:

31 JAN 2015-- "Magic small forward Tobias Harris is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Mavericks, OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Harris, who will start at power forward Saturday, injured his quad Thursday, but an earlier report Saturday indicated he would be available to face the Mavericks. He has averaged 17.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 42 games. "

4 OCT 2014 -- http://fansided.com/2014/10/04/orlando-magic-likely-start-tobias-harris-power-forward/

5 SEP 2013 -- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1760206-why-tobias-harris-is-the-key-to-orlando-magics-entire-roster-and-future

The guy is 6'8" 235lbs, and while a bit on the small side for a PF, many have succeeded at that height/weight or shorter/leaner. His wingspan is equal to Kieff's, and only 2" shy on standing reach, yet his per36 numbers from last season were very similar to Kieff's in rebounding, yet Harris was a better and more prolific 3PT shooter, less TOs, less PFs, and same number of blocks.

I'd be perfectly fine with trotting Harris out there at PF--he knows how to play the position, and has done so in the NBA. Is SF probably a better fit for him? Yeah, but Kieff's no C, yet he played there quite a bit.

That's what happens when you make Vlade Divac the GM. Dude doesn't even know the cap or the CBA. Even if they got Matthews, they also reportedly wanted to use the remainder, which is still big money, to sign Rondo, who literally nobody wants. Rondo playing George Karl is also hilarious to think about.

I feel bad for their fans because that's what happens when you have a truly incompetent GM. Diamondbacks fans went through the same stuff with Towers and seem to be headed there again with Stewart.
