No surprise that he chose the Mavs. At this point I just feel sorry for the Kings :noway:

That's not even looking at rookies

Galo and Harris are not PFs. Monroe is played at C because he's too slow to guard PFs. I would only agree with Milsap, Green, Griffin, Davis, Horford and Ibaka.

Randle/Parker/Noel? Those guys are not better than Markieff right now. Could they be? Sure, they more than likely will be. RIght now though? Randle and Parker are coming off major injuries. Noel still doesn't have an offensive game to speak of. I kind of feel like you're either trolling the guy a bit or you just hate Markieff that much.

Just because he didn't play there primarily, doesn't mean he can't or hasn't--he did a year or two ago, right? Even when coming out, he was considered a tweener.

Here are some quotes/URLs that say otherwise:

31 JAN 2015-- "Magic small forward Tobias Harris is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Mavericks, OrlandoMagic.com reports.

Harris, who will start at power forward Saturday, injured his quad Thursday, but an earlier report Saturday indicated he would be available to face the Mavericks. He has averaged 17.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 42 games. "

4 OCT 2014 -- http://fansided.com/2014/10/04/orlando-magic-likely-start-tobias-harris-power-forward/

5 SEP 2013 -- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1760206-why-tobias-harris-is-the-key-to-orlando-magics-entire-roster-and-future

The guy is 6'8" 235lbs, and while a bit on the small side for a PF, many have succeeded at that height/weight or shorter/leaner. His wingspan is equal to Kieff's, and only 2" shy on standing reach, yet his per36 numbers from last season were very similar to Kieff's in rebounding, yet Harris was a better and more prolific 3PT shooter, less TOs, less PFs, and same number of blocks.

I'd be perfectly fine with trotting Harris out there at PF--he knows how to play the position, and has done so in the NBA. Is SF probably a better fit for him? Yeah, but Kieff's no C, yet he played there quite a bit.

Okay, and I agree they particularly can in some systems, but you can't operate that way with player rankings imo. By that logic Lebron is the best PG, SG, SF, and PF in the game because he CAN play all those positions. Then you end up with more than 30 starters at a position in the rankings because many are being double-counted.

I'm not necessarily pointing this out in response to the 'rankings' piece of the conversation, I'm just pointing out that Harris could play the 4 in our system, and right now, I'd probably take him over Kieff due to potential, and character. I think Kieff's 'topped off' in that regard, IMO, but no, right now, Kieff has shown to be the better PF at this point.

Heck, maybe I shouldcompare him to Game of Thrones and say his situation is like Daenyrs Targaryen taking over the kingdom from the long time rulers...though I guess in that case the dragon would have helped.

To me, the longer this drags on, the better our shot. The seemingly open and shut case w/ him going to the better organization in San Antonio, clearly isn't that open and shut. Sure, SA is still the favorite, but at least we have a punchers chance.

Mathews was super tight with LA on the blazers, like BFF.

Really only dropped Marcus Morris, Danny Granger, and Reggie Bullock. Morris and Granger were SF ... Bullock at 6'7" is listed as a SG but could pass for a SF. Archie is backup for Bledsoe and Knight until Booker comes along.

If LMA chooses Phoenix, two teams go down in the West Standings.. Spurs and Portland. Can't explain how big this signing would be. PJ has again posted another picture on his Instragram account with him and Aldridge in it. I wonder if PJ has even contacted him about coming to Phoenix. You would think so.

Hope Marcus Morris does well in Detroit.

What the hell does this mean?

If he is implying the Suns did his brother wrong, he seriously needs to look in the mirror. The Morris twins have been such a pain in the a$$.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

I feel bad for their fans. They've been bad twice as long as us and only had one good run the past twenty years. Kj kept the team in sacto only to be mismanaged into the dirt. The Maloofs weren't as bad as this.
