Rajon Rondos Visit

Post#1 » by nolimit0820 » Fri Jul 3, 2015 4:04 am

Tomorrow is his visit. I don't think he's a lock like many think. Apparently Lakers are talking to him as well. They have plenty of money to throw his way and I can see THEM getting a bit desperate and overpaying on a 3 year deal with a team option on the third.

Regardless, seems to fit the Kings from a PR standpoint. LOL. Rondo and Kings are both ridiculed and doubted. Match made in heaven? Doom and gloom?

Over or under:

The Kings are going to give Rondo $10 million/year now?

Under, 9.5 and the FO feels like it is a bargain from their starting point of 10.

Now it's time to look for depth. Maybe this will finally get this front offices head out of the clouds to where they finally realize their amateur games come at a real price.

I hope not but I'm afraid from what just happened with Wes, Rondo's camp will drive up his asking price and the Kings will force to sign him on an inflated price. :banghead:

It's not as big of a deal to me since he is not coming off an achilles injury and allegedly only wants a one year deal. No matter what, we'll have plenty of cap space left over.

If he's asking for a one year deal, that would be an easier pill to swallow.

At least someone gets it. Why do I feel like half the regular posters on this board would be a better GM then the ones we've had during the [censored by ICMTM] era?

I'm sorry, but if someone wants Beverley over Rondo, they don't get it.

Rondo is maybe the last guy in the entire league I would want on this team. I'd honestly rather sign Jimmer.

Look if Rondo rebounds this would be the best signing of the offseason.

Why not rally behind it and see what happens. He seems to be cool with Rudy and DMC. He's a good fit with Ben.

I'm all in on Rondo!

I get that for as high of bball IQ Rondo has his poor attitude negates it most of the time. I get that Rondo cant shoot. I get that Rondo is no longer the athlete he once was when Boston was winning Championships. I get that Rondo isn't anywhere near as good to justify his asking price..... The rest of the league gets it too.
