What does everyone think about Luc M'Bah a Moute as cheap, vet 3/4 backup? Not the best shooter obviously but our 2nd unit already has some pretty good shooting and he could be a good mentor for Inglis as far as learning the ropes defensively goes.

Was actually a 30% 3pt shooter last year, but would be interested more so for his lock down defending which would look nice next to Vazquez / Mayo / Inglis / Zaza or Henson.

I seem to remember a small issue when he left here personality wise, did he speak out about the front office or city or something when he left?

Other cheap options who can give us some minutes at the 4: Dante Cunningham, Luis Scola, Mike Muscala (may still be on Hawks books).

^^^^you need to add possibility #4.

Ranadive is simply the new Herb Kohl. A well meaning civic type who had some involvement in basketball (Herb was a high school PG and Ranadive loves the game and coached his kids team to a local title) but who really has no feel for the game at all but believes strongly in his own opinions on how to run a franchise.

My dream would be to take on Terrance Jones if Houston are still looking to dump his salary.

MCW / Vazquez / Ennis
Middleton / Mayo / Vaughn
Giannis / Jones / Inglis
Parker / Jones / Inglis / O'Bryant
Monroe / Henson / Zaza

Unsure: Bayless / Plumlee

Side note: Former Marquette players getting paid this summer. ~$150M so far. Wade, Butler, Matthews.

He ended up signing with DAL. Haven't seen the numbers yet.

Poor poor Lakers and Knicks. Assuming the Lakers don't hit a bottom of the 9th home run here soon, that Philly owned pick is looking tasty.
Go Bucks!

Seems like big name free agents this year are more interested in posturing for huge contracts in the next 2 years. Explains staying far away from the dumpster fires that are the Knicks and Lakers.

Is Luc the same defender that he once was after those knee injuries? I'd be interested in him if he were cheap, not too many versatile FA defensive specialists.

Bucks next FA move should be to facilitate Suns freeing cap space to sign LMA. With Dudley deal Bucks now have approx. 6mil cap$ - trade Bayless to DEN for Foyes NG deal and cut - to get to 9mil in cap$ - then trade 2nd pick to Suns to absorb Markieff Morris' salary so they can sign LMA. MM is a very good fit at PF being a very good shooter with legit 3pt range. He'd be #1F off bench - Giannis and Parker would play SF whenever MM checks in.

Monroe / Henson / zaza / plumlee
giannis / morris (henson)
parker / ingliss (giannis)
middl / mayo / Vaughn
mcw / Vasquez / ennis

Wasn't Luc's gripe partly the Bucks medical staff's work on his knee?

What about signing Omri Casspi to fill Dudleys spot? I've always really liked his game, and he can stretch the floor.

Probably a fair gripe then. I'd love to at least do a full medical and have him meet the new owners and see the new direction. Could be a nice, cheap, versatile depth option.

Without Dudley now we don't really have that top quality vet defender we can throw on a wing / 4 man to slow them down after Giannis.

Trade Mayo and Bayless to Cleveland for Hayward ( Cleveland is said to be in looking for a shooter and a veteran PG). Waive Hayward and use the cap space created from this and the Dudley deal to get the best young forward available. Bring back Tobias Harris!

Parker won't be back anytime soon, and it will be even longer before he's playing 36 minutes. Hartis wouldb be great to simply prevent overuse of Parker too early. Then there'll be plenty of minutes for all the young forwards going forward, as Giannis will eventually play some small ball center.

Get as many young studs locked in this offseason before the cap explodes. Having Harris in his age 22-26 season would be a huge coup.

The Kings after striking out on Mathews are trying to Deron Williams. Seriously LOL. Every time you think it couldn't get any worse they top it. Simply incredible.

I like the goal. The route is flawed though as Cavs want either cap space or a decent player for Hayward. They wont do Mayo Bayless. BUT Denver might for a future lotto-protected 1st - mayo & bayless for foye and chandler. Foye's 3mil is fully NG Chandler's 7.2 has only 2m G so we gain 8.2mil of cap + current 6mil = 14.2mil. tobe wants max so we'd also need to move zaza to get it done. IF HOU misses on LMA then they might take zaza for Papanko's NG4.2m

Ooh I'd like this.

We really need a another shooter on the bench at one of the forward spots. I guess they think Inglis is ready. Is he playing in SL?
