I didn't see anyone respond to this.
I went to bed thinking the same thing. Was that report (from a rockets writer I believe) more fluff? Can someone chime in?

If we dont get him, then we are left with either Chandler and no PF (Markieff being traded to get him) or Chandler and a puss of a PF (Markieff)

Not saying that i dont trust McD, but there are way to many things that need to be done that i just cant even wrap my mind around how we'll accomplish it....especially knowing that there is nobody around to leak any info. its too stressful as a fan.

I think at the end of the day we will, as fans, either marvel at what our FO has done with the circumstances at hand, or bury our heads in our hands.

All i know is that right now we played all of our cards extremely well. And the pieces will fall were they will.

There is absolutely no problem with gutting the bench, quite the contrary. Forget this season. It's all about being positioned for next off season. If we enter next year's FA with a deep bench we are screwed, everybody has capspace. We are not a prime destination. We need the stars NOW and then we can spend like crazy on role players. Either this works out, or we are **** for years to come.

The anticipation for this LMA signing is bordering on waiting to see Alexandra Daddario in True Detective.

So much wait....

And there was NO disappointment there, don't let us down LaMarcus!! :D

The Blazers know LMA aint coming back, and they have made some pretty good moves to rebuild and go young. Traded for Vonleh and Henderson, traded for the good Plumlee, signed Aminu, signed Ed Davis, drafted Hollis Jefferson. Yes they lost all of thier starters but Lilard but have done a decent job of going younger. Matthews was hurt and probably not going to be fully recovered for some time.... I never liked Batum's game... and Sideshow Bob is.... well... nothing to cry over. LMA is the only one that stings for them and they have done a damn good job of getting guys.

Someone said whoever gets LMA will also get Dave West..... not true. Seems Dave is waiting to see where LMA goes so he can choose after. If the Spurs get LaMarcus they cant afford Dave, he then chooses the Wiz or Ny or long shot here.

Who's the above average player we're going to say is better than Aldridge in 2 days?

Morris, Harris, Kanter?

They traded Hollis-Jefferson to Brooklyn for Mason Plumlee.

They did good job with acquiring Plumlee and Vonleh but they overpaid for Lillard (25 mil per year) and Aminu.

Morris + Tucker for Chandler + Gallinari

C: Chandler / Len
PF: Gallinari / Leuer
SF: Chandler / Warren
SG: Knight / Booker
PG: Bledsoe / Goodwin

Gallinari is not a good rebounder nor post defender, but the two Chandlers make up for it.

Why would you guys get so anxious and freak out over that post? The poster was just messing with you and trying to get that reaction out of you. Dude's last post on the board was on March 23rd...
