He is a guy who has generally sucked when put in a situation with a winning team.

That said, his performance last April easily makes gaarbage time hall of fame. Great stats.

If he'd take a one or two year deal at $3mm per, and would be happy if it turns out he gets zero playing time, I'm in. Good find.

Parker won't be back anytime soon, and it will be even longer before he's playing 36 minutes. Hartis wouldb be great to simply prevent overuse of Parker too early. Then there'll be plenty of minutes for all the young forwards going forward, as Giannis will eventually play some small ball center.

Get as many young studs locked in this offseason before the cap explodes. Having Harris in his age 22-26 season would be a huge coup.

I like the goal. The route is flawed though as Cavs want either cap space or a decent player for Hayward. They wont do Mayo Bayless. BUT Denver might for a future lotto-protected 1st - mayo & bayless for foye and chandler. Foye's 3mil is fully NG Chandler's 7.2 has only 2m G so we gain 8.2mil of cap + current 6mil = 14.2mil. tobe wants max so we'd also need to move zaza to get it done. IF HOU misses on LMA then they might take zaza for Papanko's NG4.2m

They aren't going to do significantly better than OJ/Bayless. It has to be ~8-12M of salary dump. Meanwhile, Foye is easily worth 3M and Den turned turn offers of 1st rd picks for Chandler at the deadline. So there is no chance you get them (and why would they? Better players on better deals??).

we have approx. 6mil avail - Bucks still need a PF who is strong a rebounder and can hit the 3

KOQ -age24- being Restricted might take 5-6mil to keep Magic from matching - a bit of a gamble as he is not proven
Jordon Hill -age27- he made 9mil last yr - have to move bayless' 3mil - Hill is surest thing but most expensive
Brandon Bass -age30- maybe 4mil? - a tad short but solid locker room guy also - mentor type

IF we have any $ left - if Ingliss isn't ready or is a poor defender - Will Barton so far has been a bust but he hustles like crazy and could be a good wing defender for close to min

I'm a huge Nene fan. There is no way Zaza and Bayless gets you Nene. That is like trying to duct tape two hot dogs together and pretend it's a ribeye.

Perhaps we could flip Zaza, Bayless, and the TPE we get for Dudley for Nene to give the Wizards the 4.2M in cap space they want. I don't think we can create much more cap space for them outside of that.

Why do you guys want Nene? That guy is injured more than anyone and expensive. I'd much rather get one more 3 point shooter. I think ZaZa, Henson and Monroe can handle the center position just fine by committee.

And again at PF you've got Giannis and Jabari.

It may be time to start getting Phil Jackson's affairs in order and call a few looney bins.

Even Henson or Monroe can play PF when you play against Noah and Gasol.

Bucks don't need a 4, Parker and Giannis both cab play the 4 spot, plus inglis will force himself on the floor from what I have heard. The beomêx need a wing who can shoot the three and help with spacing.

im not confortable with just Jabari and giannis at the 4. if the thought is that Monroe could play there some next to henson or zaza too then that mitigates that to some degree.

I agree. Get a SG or SF that can come off the bench and shoot a good percentage of threes.

If I was a GM, I would never set myself up to strike out in free agency. It creates the perception that your plan has failed, and you lose credibility with fans and clout with other GMs. The Lakers and Knicks went in to this offseason all wrong. Not that I feel bad for them. But just am kind of laughing at how their pride and hubris set them up for failure. Both should have announced they would be rebuilding through the draft, not acted entitled as if FAs would flock there immeadiately. Furthermore, each team set up the strange position they are in, NY by supermaxing Carmello and LA by giving the legacy extension to Kobe. Both moves filled the fanbase with an anxiety laden deadline to rebuild in one offseason, a scenario that was never going ro happen for either team.
