1 year/$2.1 million. Posting from my phone so I can't embed the tweet.

I'll take it. I suppose that takes Stuckey off the table, which is fine w/ me.

About where he was before, not making the roster.

But Dez is Wall's boy.

I think they'd be better off with an older rookie who should be able to contribute right away yet still has some room for growth. From what I see, his former team's fans are happy to see Neal go.

He's been pretty bad since he left San Antonio, but he's a 38% three point shooter for his career. You could do worse for 15 mpg. Also completely lights out from the line. Nice to have in late game situations.

He did have some 20 point games last season and important to remember he was playing on the Hornets and T-Wolves. Hopefully playing in a more stable situation can get him out of his funk.

Really he just needs to hit some 3s and look alive on defense for me to be happy.

If he gets that much. Give him on the Juan Dixon treatment: if he hits his first jumper -- great. Give him some burn. If he comes out cold, yank him and lean on Wall/Beal/Sessions. Neal can be our emergency offense guy; Temple can be our Randy Brown-esque emergency defense guy.

Meh signing. At least he's a shooter. He's had some issues with team chemistry (specifically during his time with the Bucks).

Yeah, I'm not too thrilled with this. He has been a very bad player for two years now. I guess the pickings were pretty slim since we only had the BAE and we were only willing to offer 1 year. Still, I think we might have done better with the D-League. I just don't see any reason to believe this guy is better than a replacement level player. Why spend more than the vet minimum?

I hope we at least placed a call to Atlanta first to see if Bazemore or Jenkins were available for our TPE.

Also, this takes us out of contention for Drew Gooden, unless he accepts the vet minimum.

If Bazemore was available for a tpe then it would ha been a much better move but Neal this cheap is better then Stuckey with the MLE.

It is an ok but not great signing. I wonder though if there are better BAE candidates available though later in free agency or at the very least similar value guys. Here's hoping that Neal can get back to what he was doing in San Antonio but as others have said, he has been struggling the past few years

I'm just glad we actually have shooters on the team now. Dudley+Neal is probably the best shooting combo you're going to get on the market right now for a TPE+BAE.
