Never thought the Aldridge stuff was serious. There's ulterior motives in play

I remember wanting to draftim in 2012.

Kid is a pure great shooter, but got injured and never really played a real role in the NBA yet (3 years on bench...not good). Think he's too green for what we need. But for the Min, probably worth a gamble..Maybe

riley always finds bench perimeter shooters; it may be a vet or a journeyman, but he always gets it done. I have no worries about that

What's up with Wade saying that the talks with Nick and Micky Arison is what made him stay? Is he on bad terms with Pat for some reason?

I hope Wade doesn't Boozer us once LMA is off the table.

No he felt disrespected and that comes from the ownership Riley doesn't make money decisions. Wade said that was the first time he's ever had an actual business conversation with the Arison's and when he saw how much they valued him and how they wanted him to remain in a Heat jersey for the remainder of his career that is what changed his mind.

Riley is the one that presumably convinced him to sign a 1 year deal to give us flexibility. Only LeBron has a beef with Riley. As we've seen with the Dragic trade and him getting a meeting with LMA even though we had no cap space. People around the league players, GM's, and coaches alike still revere and respect him. Wade included. If he didn't believe that Riley could lure FA's he wouldn't have given us that flexibility.

Has Wade still not done enough to let you know that he doesn't want to play anywhere else?

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

I think that getting LMA is a stretch. He is most likely going to San Antonio. A S&T for Lou Williams is our best option... Would be dope IMO!

Dream scenario, get Lou Will and trade Chalmers+Bird for Jamal. We could give them spot minutes and we'd be set.

Pretty sure I'm over valuing our guys here lol

For some reason this makes me smile that he felt like he had to talk to him again because Pat talked to him. I would like to see both of them meet one day and see what those 2 basketball minds think like. It would be like

Pop:"Pat"
Riley:"Greg"

Then they go to shake hands and alls you here are a bunch of clanging from the rings but Riley would shake with both hands covering pops rings with his 9

Out of the list, I would go with Alan Anderson.

If we don't trade anyone, this looks like a solid 10 man squad, haven't added the third stringers.

Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside
Chalmers,Alan Anderson, Winslow, McBob, Bird
