The Spurs won a championship 1 year ago and it was like no big deal at all. The city didn't explode in joy, there wasn't national hype, and at the end of the day nobody cared that they won it all. It's not just because they've won so much, because it certainly wasn't like that when the Lakers won (*) in 2010.

If he brings a ring to Phoenix he will officially have the keys to the city. His celebrity status would be like Nash and Fitzgerald combined. The city would EXPLODE and the impact would be beyond words. The whole country would actually care too, while when they beat the Heat all that mattered was the Heat losing, not the Spurs winning.

This is a chance to be the face of a city and dynasty that turns him into a superstar. In San Antonio he won't get those things and the end goal would not be anywhere near as great as the end goal in the Valley.

Well get those words to his agents or something. You are absolutely right. I am trying to post similar stuff to twitter and am getting attacked by Spurs fans.

I don't think a second meeting is necessary. Show your desire for the player and confidence in your initial presentation. A lot of the time the subsequent meetings can hurt you more then help you. If the Suns feel like they killed it a few days ago then let the other teams show a lack of confidence begging for more meeti gs to say what they feel like they didnt in the first while the Suns stand tall.

It's just so disheartening as a sports fan... Especially seeing all these FA's pass on the chance to do something truly special in Phoenix, he would be a legend here from the day he inks his name to become a Sun.

That really is perfect. About Tom Cruise, I saw Terminator in IMAX today and saw an IMAX exclusive Mission Impossible trailer and it was a 5 minute clip from the movie, and I gotta say, it was **** awesome...I mean...I was never that excited about those movies, but it really looks like this one is gonna be good..that scene was crazy good.

All I ask is that he makes his decision before tomorrow night. I can't take this anymore.

I'm not a fan of his personal life stuff, but he really hasn't made too many bad movies.

Every minute that passes is good for us. If nothing comes out tonight Pop didn't close and we will get a meeting as well.

That's just a silly comment.

Lakers had a second meeting too. What does a second meeting mean? That you're first meeting wasn't good enough?

The Lakers are in shambles.

The spurs are ready to win a title next year with Aldridge they'd be the favorites.

Quite the difference.

I've been unfortunate enough to spend time in San Antonio and the town was never crazier than it was in 2013. It's was more nuts than 99', 03', 05' and 07' combined.

Imagine winning a championship, trying to enjoy the what should be the most exciting moment in your life then seeing Kawhi Leonards depressed, emotionless face right infront of you in the locker room after the game.

I hope LMA is smart enough to see through the BS of greatness after Duncan retires that Pops is trying to sell.

The Spurs were NEVER ever an elite franchise pre-Duncan. The Spurs were always just a team on the schedule. Duncan is The Spurs. Duncan retires welcome back to being just another team that you always were San antonio!
