A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Chandler will be a good signing. The Suns are not done mixing up the roster.

You will soon regret this signing. Chandler is done.

suns tried to get that meeting and didn't get it, let's not try to change the narrative and suggest this happend due to a lack of trying

Re: Suns Offseason Thread 2: The Hunt for a Blazer Continues!
If it is really true about him making his mind up 2 days before free agency like Gambo said (I find that hard to believe), then this was a total waste of time with every team. Why give the Lakers TWO MEETINGS. Why meet with Pat Riley. Is his ego so enormous that even though he knew where he was going, he just wanted to see how much teams would do for him. Sounds like the Carmelo Anthony situation last year where he met with everyone just because he wanted to see how being courted felt. Yet the entire time he had already decided to go back to New York. Chicago was supposedly in it until the end and then he chose New York and that was where he wanted to be the whole time. Why grant meetings with teams when your mind is made up. Seems like an act of pure selfishness, not an act of being nice to hear a team's pitch.

Re: Suns Offseason Thread 2: The Hunt for a Blazer Continues!
For me the Chandler signing is aggravating (since I would prefer to just rebuild organically and focus on the draft - not being totally Philly-level bad, but GSW bad and pick in the 4-9 range would be fine with me), but I can live with it. Neither Len nor Tyson is going to ever be healthy enough to play the full 82, and they need to keep each others' minutes down to prevent wear and tear. What is so much more aggravating to me is getting rid of Marcus but still having PJ Tucker on the roster.
PJs value in a trade is so much higher than Marcus', and I'm honestly getting really tired of holding the expirings of these vets (Dragic, Green, Tucker) instead of selling them off when their value is high. We sold Marcus when his value was at absolute rock bottom, which is a bad look for an asset-focused rebuilding team. We had 4 years to rehabilitate his value, whereas we have only 2 to maximize the return on a PJ trade. PJ also has next to no room for improvement, whereas Marcus was actually a really good and well-rounded player after the ASB. He couldn't buy a basket, but did everything else really well.
Perhaps I'm somewhat unpopular in that I don't care about what the on-court product/watchability is like until you're actually contending and I wish McDonough would more aggressively treat players as assets.
13th pick here we come, led by a stable of unnecessary vets while a bevy of draft picks rot on the bench.

Not that marcus or bullock were worth a crap but to basically just give them away hurts. Just less "assets" to use in a supposive plan "B" trade.
By the way I HIGHLY doubt there is an acceptable plan "b" that will satisfy anyone. It is what it is!

Why? Because it will look bad to players that will never sign here?

@Gambo987: Back to Markieff Morris & his low efficiency, fade away jump shots, inability to get to the basket or have a post game & lack of rebounding
Ouch....truth hurts!

Well he's not lying. And he will be disgruntled now that his bro is gone.
I am confident that McD has some kind of back up plan.

I've talked to my source and he told me it's not true about LMA making up his mind two days ago.. He might of always preferred the Spurs due to his family being there... But the Suns changed his mind quickly which is why Pops requested a second meeting...
Concerning LMA impact if he had signed with the Suns... I don't think he would've been enough to bring a ship to us.. Like someone said, it would've if made us relevant again but not contenders..
The Tyson a Chandler signing has to do more with leadership and toughness than anything gents... Then you add that he can still play ... You guys will not understand how bad the leadership was needed last season, especially when the Morris brothers acted up..
Alex Len will gain the most from Chandler... He's already a hard worker, competitor and tough as nails... Now you add Chandlers knowledge to the game, the sky is the limit ..
The Chandler signing is going to be a cheap contract once the TV money comes in.. So will the backcourt team of Bledsoe and Knight...
Getting another players just for the sake of getting another player never has worked.. (Enter Hakim Warrick)
I do know that the Suns are working he phones very diligently seeing what's out there ... And yes, they where prepare for this... Getting another 34 year old vet in David West isn't the answer..

Because it makes us look flimsy and a team whose word means nothing, then Dragic looks right
