suns tried to get that meeting and didn't get it, let's not try to change the narrative and suggest this happend due to a lack of trying

Did we really? Hadn't heard that anywhere, and that they were in a holding pattern. Meaning not doing anything else basically.

I am predicting we will be good. Playoffs? We will see. I am just glad we won't stink and being mediocre for another might give us a shot at another star next year, but dumping the whole team is foolhardy. We are right there...let the guys play.

I promise nothing I am doing will prevent the guys from playing.

So, how good exactly? Like 40 wins good?

I just want to make sure all other teams understand that we are secured in the draft. There should be no misunderstanding.

If people still do not understand why signing Tyson Chandler is a good thing and why getting Marcus off the team was a good thing, then I do not know what to tell you.

What are the Suns biggest weaknesses? Interior defense, rebounding, and leadership. What does Chander bring? All of that. Is he an older player? Yeah. So what. I would take a 50 year old player if it meant getting the things Chandler brings. You think he is overpaid? Well put this into perspective. Robin Lopez just signed for more money than Chandler. Robin Lopez! He is so bad. He averaged 5 pts and 4 rbs in 23 minutes in the playoffs and got rewarded with a 4 year, 54 million dollar contract. What a joke.

Yeah we are all sad the Suns did not get Aldridge. But there are still plenty of things that can be done. Let's see what McDonough does after this.

Good grief. What over reactions. The Chandler signing is still a good one. Everyone young team needs an elder statesman who sets the tone for the locker room and holds players accountable. Chandler is that guy. That's why KG is in Minny.

Brandan Wright, while I loved the guy, was not that personality. We gave up Marcus and two guys who never really played here. That move is good in itself.

Time to move on.

LMA wanted to go the TX period, but our roster made him think long and hard before he committed, that's a good thing. I don't want to tank and we will not tank. If we get the 13th pick or make the playoffs doesn't matter; what matters is are the young guys getting better.

The definition of mediocre is receiving the 12-14th pick in the lottery, which is where I feel our franchise will be for the next 4 years. Being a suns fan is like watching the game of thrones. Little victories, all murder and salty feelings

I disagree, the difference is we are young. If young talent makes you mediocre moving toward greatness, what's the problem? Let's have you talent and suck? What am I missing?

I'm afraid we really are not that young at all. Our primary contributors will be 25, 25, 30, 22, 32, 23 (avg. 26.2). That's pretty much average for the NBA.

Now back to your regularly scheduled Bledsoe trade rumors.

One thing that's funny about the Non Stoptimists is how they spun the Granger acquisition as a really good thing because we were getting a veteran locker room presence and with our medical staff, we could revive his career and make him a solid contributor. Then, we dump him for basically nothing and no one says a thing.

At this point, you either trade for Galinari or take David Lee in a salary dump and force GSW to include Looney with him.

I'd also be okay with Jordan Hill on a decent deal.

Wouldn't be a bad thing if they got Looney out of it. Otherwise, nope.

You guys should sign Jordan Hill for a year, even if it is a loaded deal, then close the roster with some minimum guys

Return to Phoenix Suns
