that would literally be the worst defensive pf duo in the history of the NBA

NO! Getting Lee is fine. Trading Lee for Markieff is a giant downgrade to our future.

How else would they get Lee. He makes 15 million dollars next season. Markieff makes 8 million. After the trade with Detroit, the Suns have 20 million in cap space. Chandler takes 13 of that 20. That leaves over 7 million. 8 + 7 = 15. So the Suns trade out 8 million with Markieff and get back Lee's 15 million. It is the only way it can happen.

If he is what is required then you don't get Lee. Trading the younger player of similar value on a locked in, cheaper contract for the older player his team is trying to salary dump for years is NEVER a win. Ever. We'd just walk away.

god I hope not. Just let Archie and booker get the backup 2 guard minutes. Signing Green or any vet like him would be foolish and make me very pissed.

Is this a joke or are you purposely trying to hurt the team

Why the **** would you want Lee

Let alone give up Kieff for him?

That would be the most terrible, terrible trade maybe in the history of trades

I didn't realize there was only need for one leadership role per team.

Who said there was? Are you implying it would be better to give minutes to Granger instead of Warren? Funny that you bypass the rebounding and interior defense. I know, it was all you had. It must be rough hating the team you are supposedly a fan of.

Hahaha, wut? My initial point had zero to do with Chandler. Zero. You said, "Didn't picking up Chandler make Granger redundant? " If Granger was going to help the team with leadership, then he would help with or without Chandler. How signing a center makes Granger redundant is confusing.

Actually your initial point was to rip fellow fans here on this board, I simply provided an answer as to why an optimistic fan of the team was fine with Granger being moved. There was no spin needed. Granger was a throw in, but he could have provided vet leadership we needed. But realistically, he wouldn't have received as many minutes as say Chandler would, who can be all that Granger is in terms of leadership, and be on the floor more.

Thanks for wasting our time LMA. This is honestly why I hate FA. Smoke and mirrors.

So, who's most likely now:

David Lee
Brandon Bass
Kyle O'Quinn (who I like)
Stoudemire
Boozer
J. Hill

haha I was thinking the same thing.

Theoretically a Bled/Kieff trade for Love is still possible, however unlikely

Honestly I'm not sure how much of a better team that would make us in the short term though.

Porzingis is still there. Kaminsky + something is there in exchange for a Kieff maybe. Idk. **** it

I just hate the thought of relegating Len to the bench just to have some 33 year old scrape together a couple more wins just so we can get swept in the first round a little sooner

**** LMA. It literally all depended on him. The 2016 FA's suck balls

Concerning LMA impact if he had signed with the Suns... I don't think he would've been enough to bring a ship to us.. Like someone said, it would've if made us relevant again but not contenders..

The Tyson a Chandler signing has to do more with leadership and toughness than anything gents... Then you add that he can still play ... You guys will not understand how bad the leadership was needed last season, especially when the Morris brothers acted up..

Alex Len will gain the most from Chandler... He's already a hard worker, competitor and tough as nails... Now you add Chandlers knowledge to the game, the sky is the limit ..

The Chandler signing is going to be a cheap contract once the TV money comes in.. So will the backcourt team of Bledsoe and Knight...

Getting another players just for the sake of getting another player never has worked.. (Enter Hakim Warrick)

I do know that the Suns are working he phones very diligently seeing what's out there ... And yes, they where prepare for this... Getting another 34 year old vet in David West isn't the answer..

Why did we not get a second meeting with LMA? Didn't we deserve that at the very least?

No point in any of those except for O'Quinn and Hill. Lee is only worthwhile if he brings additional pieces for taking on his awful contract.

This is what I'm asking about. If Granger was a good veteran leadership presence (not my contention, but others') then how does adding another veteran leadership presence make the first redundant? That would imply that once you have one good veteran leader, adding any additional leaders is overkill. I believe good teams usually have several players with these qualities.

After all this bs, I don't think I could handle ever seeing Gerald Green in a Suns jersey again, should have traded the guy last summer

(you could have said that about Dragic, Mook, Kieff, and Tucker)

I have said this multiple times for a long time time. I would trade both of the Morris brothers for garbage bags. So say whatever you want. I deep down believe the Morris brothers are horrific players to have on your team. Everything about them is negative. Get them off the team. Getting Lee for Markieff would be a major win for me. Hell getting a box of cereal for Markieff would be a good return imo. I had a hard time rooting for the Suns just because I hate him and his brother so much as basketball players.
