Free agent LaMarcus Aldridge will sign with the San Antonio Spurs, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

I don't mind the Spurs reloading. Their Front Office just runs so much better than pretty much anyone else. Competence should be rewarded - substance should beat flash.

Yeah I was guessing 9m. That contract is such a steal that I feel bad for KOQ.

You guys are nuts he was never getting more than Ajinca

Wait, what has KOQ done besides been the 10th man on some really bad and young Orlando teams???? Seems about fair price for a 10th-12th man

If he steps in and acts as the 1st big off the bench, he will definitely outperform that contract. I'm kind of bummed we didn't get him and his beard

If Larry couldn't handle the stresses of the NBA in Milwaukee, how would he fair on the Lakers? Not good

So many bargains after the bigger names go.

With KOQ gone, Jordan Hill and Brandon Bass are the last two guys I'd consider either worth adding at PF. Bass would be cheaper but older 30 vs 27. Go get one of them John.

Just wondering if this is Sacs way of having a center if Cousins is dealt.

Didn't think of that. I assumed that they grabbed Koufos to be starting center and put Cousins at PF.

I have a feeling Karl will be gone before Cousins.

Couple of things, I don't think they took WCS that high not to start, but this is also SAC we are talking about, they just might have wanted to spend their money some way.

Sacramento could literally not be more (Please Use More Appropriate Word). I feel sorry for them. Like it's not funny any more. That move in a vacuum is OK, but in the context of their team with their offseason? LOL, Jesus.

If Koufos had gone to any other team, it'd be fine, but going to the Kings makes me think he will flip. But get those checks Kosta!

I think that Koufos is a solid center and 8.5/yr is pretty reasonable for a player with his skills. I wouldn't mind having that contract. Solid signing by the Kings to go along with having one of the most oddly created teams I've seen in recent history.

Good signing for Sac. Karl gets a guy he likes for how ever many months he's there, WCS gets pressure taken off and Boogie can play next to a defender.
