predict our record next season

Post#1 » by snaquille oatmeal » Sun Jul 5, 2015 3:17 am

so our line up is starting to take shape, though we still have holes and just about 5 mil left to spend, are we making the playoffs, are we upper or bottom lottery team, are we good enough to spank the Clippers at least once?

Last year's 8th seeded team New Orleans scraped through with 45 wins tied with OKC - I'd like to say we'll get 45 wins but being a bit more realistic (no matter how much faith I have) I'm predicting 35 + wins, but only and only if we can stay healthy and the Key word there was Healthy - we need to have no more injuries.

With an unproven Rookie, 2 year Randle and an upcoming Clarkson it's going to take time to gell, but let's hope they pick it up fast and learn to play well with each other - another key factor will be Young, I really hope he can shoot consistently this year < that's if he doesn't get traded.

Best case 37 wins
Worst case 20 wins

There will be stretches were scoring will be an issue.. I think last year we may have had better scorers but I think the defense will be better this year.

on the other hand we have a long way to go. I am over this FA cap money bs. we always do better with trades.

Lakersnation on FB recently had a post about HIbbert joining lakers VIA Trade - people kept commenting on the fact that no one wants to play with Kobe.

Reality is - Today's players is all about the Money and Partying where back in the day it was all about "Wining and getting beat up" I miss those days.

Edit: you could argue the above by saying we had the money and best place to party, but when you team that up with someone who wants to win and put in the work ethic "Kobe" no one will want to do that.

31-51 if Kobe misses 20 games. 34-48 if kobe misses 10 games. 36-46 if kobe plays 80 games
