Brandon Knight 5 years at 70 mill vs Reggie Jackson 5 years at 80 mill

Who is the better player? In my mind I think Knight is a better player but Im curious what everyone thinks.

I've seen them both but I still have a bit of bias here so I'll say Reggie Jackson. Reggie is a much better distributor than Knight and fits our PnR perfectly. Reggie is also a plus defender and I do not believe Knight is one this past season? However, Knight is a better 3pt shooter which could be useful on SVG's offense.

If he plays up to his potential, he's worth it. I know it's a small sample size (27 games) but after the trade to Detroit he was averaging 17 points, 5 boards and 9 assists per game.

I think that it's an okay deal for the Pistons. As long as Reggie improves a little bit more, I think that it will be considered a fair value contract.

Did Reggie Jackson signing just break the board? Too many connections error now.

Surely it can't be Raps fans going nuts on possibly signing Cory Joseph? lol.

Good for him. Not sure how good it is for the Pistons though.

I like Reggie, but I don't like him that much.

If he improves on 17-5-9 or at least maintains that he's worth it as a Dynamic PG type guy for detroit. Stan has a pretty sick squad shaping up over there. This signing obviously means something for Jennings too.....does he take the bench role or force himself out? Never know how he's even going to come back from such a bad injury as well

brutal for Detroit, decent player at about 5 million too much per year. Only need one person to pay you a ton though.
The feedback I've received from our fans is they understand we are trying to build something great. Good decisions come from having a broad set of options and making tough calls. We will do it unblinkingly. We have to be willing to take smart risks-Hinkie

Who was offering this much anyway let alone more, since this's the max other teams can't even offer? It's not like he was unrestricted. Great talent tho. Should be better this year but it's still stupid to pay a player more than the amount other teams won't even get near.
