Would of been nice to keep him but we'll get by with Mills and whoever we pick up off the scrap heap.

He got more than Lou Williams, very surprised at the figure and length.

Hope he does well and earns it.

Well he got paid !

He is a good kid though. I wish nothing but the best for him. Happy that he is going home and Raps fans have always loved him.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

A guy attacking the basket. That's the best attribute he has right now by far. I was really impressed last season.

He became much better handling the ball and initiating the offense, but he is not much of a creator for others. Pop never gave him too much freedom offensively because he never developed reliable a 3p shot. But if Casey puts a system to stretch the floor for him, I'm positive you guys will be happy with the result.

Last season he was an absolute stud driving to the basket.

The Raptors' front office has data that says he'll be the team's best perimeter defender. How was he on that side of the floor?

He is very good. He was good from day 1. He can hold his own against 1s and 2s because of his size. Pop used him plenty of times as 2 in small-ball situations.

He's a great PG for depth, defense, and hustle but I he is gonna make more than Timmy next year more than likely. Let that set in, lol

Also, Cory is a very steady PG. He doesn't turn the ball over and he's aggresive attacking the rim. Never takes bad shots. Last year, he showed a solid midrange jumper, which he really needs because he doesn't have a 3 point shot and can't always go all the way to the rim. His best attribute has to be his defense because you always know that he'll bring energy and hustle out there. He's not one of those foul proned over aggresive type either.. He's just a very solid defensive player. He's without a doubt our best defensive PG and when we needed a defensive stop at the end of quarters, sometimes Pop insert him specifically to do that. Great size at PG too at 6'3'' and we even had him playing some SG the last 2 years.

Spurs bench really getting paid this year. Amazing. Everyone wants to copy our system so much, I think they look at our players as someone who can help them do that. If these guys were asking that much from our team to stay, I'd say good bye.
