I think he'd settle for LBJ not forcing him to over pay TT by 40 million

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Bucks could be also. 11-18 after the All-Star break last year.

We didnt lose our 3rd, 4th, and 5th leading scorer replacing them with Demaree Carroll and Biyombo.

No but they did get rid of Ersan and Duds and replaced them with GV.
Parker is coming off an injury and will take time to get into the swing of things.
If there is no improvement or marginal improvement from MCW and Giannis this team still has no outside shooting besides Middleton.
Plus teams won't be overlooking them this year.

So we lost Ersan and Dudley. Gained Monroe, Parker, and GV. GV does have a TS of 52%. With all the **** he gets he actually is a pretty solid player. His shot selection needs work. Ill give you that. Otherwise there has been significant improvements.

If Marshall comes back that should be a huge plus, too. The falloff after the break wasn't all from the loss of knight.

Sign Jordan Hill and Corey Brewer for 14 contracted players.

Brewer already signed a 3 year deal in Houston

What exactly does Jordan Hill give us that we don't get from Henson?

If we didn't have a glut of guards I'd chase him. I think he could be a good piece with an expanded role.

5 year/80 mil to Reggie Jackson?

That's why you don't hire a Van Gundy. The game passed that family by 15 years ago...
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

The Bucks are basically adding 3 1st ROund picks (Parker, Inglis, and Rashad) + Monroe + Vasquez to last year's team while just losing Ersan and Dudley. The team is also heavily comprised of young players who are likely to improve.

MIL could use more spacing, but Vasquez and Mayo are also pretty good 3 Point shooters

Remaining free agents who fit that description

Shooters-
Mirza Teletovic
Gigi Datome
Chris Copeland
Tayshaun Prince
Shawne Williams
Luke Babbit
Dorell Wright
Rasual Butler (probably more of a 3/2)
James Jones
Hedo Turkoglu
Joe Ingles (more of a 3)

Non shooters-
Josh Smith
Michael Beasley
Lance Thomas
Robbie Hummel

In other words, hopefully that guy is acquired in a trade. Cupboards close to bare.

^^^^good point. Not many teams are "adding" the level of talent this fall like the Bucks are.

Jabari and Monroe rival pretty much anything anyone else has done league wide. And Inglis, Vaughn and Greivis should balance out loss of Dudley and Ersan.

Wow at that Reggie deal. Were the pistons even competing with another team for his services? Even with the cap spike that is a baffling bad contract.

The Jackson signing reeks of "we just lost Greg Monroe for nothing."

The Pistons got badly burned letting a valuable young player on a rookie deal become an unrestricted free agent. Clearly they did not want to get to a point where Jackson would be threatening to follow suit.

Don't really see how they got burned. They didn't want to pay him what he wanted, apparently nobody else did either, so Monroe gambled to get more money elsewhere. Obviously it worked out for him but I highly doubt the Pistons are upset losing him. Suppose you can say in hindsight they probably should've traded him at the deadline last season to get what they could but I highly doubt they were wanting him back next to Drummond on a max contract right now.

Ujiri turned Vasquez into a first, a second and Cory Joseph. Pretty damn good.

Detroit should have traded Monroe before he became a UFA.

After he signed the QO there were too many restrictions on deals. But once they got Drummond (much less Josh Smith) the writing was on the wall.

The Pistons don't have assets to burn like this. That team still has a ways to go.
