Say what you will about any other star but for whatever reason there is this perception of Lebron that he took (or takes) the easy way to the title.

Perception wise when he went to Miami he went ring chasing. Which he did but it's really no different than having players come to him for help.

In this offseason , he's literally trying to put a Allstar team together.

Detroit vs Everybody

I really can't blame Lebron too much, players of his caliber should hope their teams do everything possible.

All of my ire falls on Dan Gilbert. The guy is a clown, he vocally claimed about how unfair the Big 3 in Miami was and stated how the league can't become a case of "haves" and "have nots" and was a leading voice for the owners in the CBA negotiations claiming teams were losing money. Now he's going to pay as much as some franchises cost in salary + lux tax.

The East is pointless for the next 5 years. We literally have to cheer for injuries to the Cavs just in hopes of having them involved in a competitive series before the Finals. That can't be good for the league.

Spurs won, period.

I'm so glad West didn't take the vet min to go to CLE.

Wow, West leaving over 10 mil on the table to play with Timmy and LMA. Spurs are the best off-season of anybody and I'm not sure it's even close.

Duncan might not play more 18-20 mpg during the regular season.

So a while back there was some nitpicking about the Spurs loss of depth with the Baynes and Belineli signings, and of course the fact that they had to move Splitter to make all of this happen.

Well, now Ginobili is back and West is in the fold. They'll be fine. Better than fine, actually.

^Still need to sign 5 more players yet. But you can bet they'll be league minimum steals that fill the niche Pop sees them for.

I still like Cleveland better in a seven game series.

In a perfect world neither team would be in the finals.

^Unfortunately for us that would be a vets minimum or room MLE type deal and provide no real cap relief.

I REALLY want Smith to go the Kings. Cousins, Smith, Gay, and Rondo all on the same team. That would be must-see TV.

Hell Yeah!

Cousins: "give me the ball"

Rondo: "no analytics says it goes to Rudy"

Gay: "Analytics? What's that?"

Smith: "It's about spacing! Speaking of space give me the ball. I gotta communicate with my home world"

Kings owners should do it and make a reality tv series out of it all next season.

Is anyone else just laughing thier ass off at the celtics? Danny ainge seems to have lost the plot somewhere. With a bunch of teams vastly improved, and making the playoffs next year, they are an absolute bubble team. They remind me of the knicks in the early 2000's, when they had 15 PF.

They apparently are trading for David Lee now. WTF. they can play 5 PF's. Maybe instead of small ball, danny thought it was players who play small?

What a disaster in Boston.

Boston made the playoffs last year and I think returning all their starters . I think their coach and system has the right plan to build a contender what I doubt is that they have the talent. There squad is full of potential but no sure thing all stars

After losing Baynes and Splitter, who is going to play Center outside of Duncan? They have 33yo Diaw and 35yo Bonner.

the lee trade isn't bad. they gave up something useless for a useful piece.
/there's plenty of teams that need bigs and they have a lot. they're just collecting assets pretty much.
The amir signing was strange though. I'll give you that.
