David West will sign with San Antonio for Vet minimum. Leaves 10.5 Million on the table. Wow

Hearing the Suns are trying to deal Markieff Morris, who has an affordable 8M/yr deal. He and Hornacek don't get along, plus Marcus is gone.

This guy well known reporter? Doesn't sound like it...

Not sure how reliable he is, but here is his latest zinger..

We should post some weird trade ideas here but plausible, and see what he tweets next.

Well if the Pelicans are worried they could lose him next summer, we could try Markieff to Orlando, Frye to New Orleans and Anderson to us. They all have similar salaries and Gentry has a history with Frye and Orlando needs scoring.

Sounds about right. The guy was never a possibility for anyone that wasn't among the top 5 title contenders. He took a huge paycut because he wants a ring before he retires and he might just get one now.

The amount of money that Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and other players have sacrificed to keep the core of San Antonio's team together is unprecedented.

Just saying.

Well, theoretically we were closer to signing him than anyone else. He also tweeted he thinks we were a long shot. But yeah, that one was a tease.

Well apparently he was talking directly to LaMarcus unless he's lying.

Hoping for Ryan Anderson......what a good fit he'd be on this roster, would really open things up for Knight and Bledsoe.

Ryan Anderson is a good fit in PHoenix. Word is that Keef is the trade bait. I would want to get more for Keif, personally. I like Anderson as a player, but Keif is better. Would we get a pick back or something?

Maybe he just has bad luck with PFs. Which doesn't help his case on the Markieff front.

IF that rumor is true, Gentry is in New Orleans and probably prefers Markieff over Ryan Anderson, he coached Markieff on his rookie season and part of his second year.

People are assuming that Gentry would prefer Anderson due to his experience with Frye but it might not be the case at all.

I don't know how people could hate this off season if we end up getting Anderson.

Improved defense, leadership and rebounding.

Got rid of knuckle head #1 and opened up playing time to the younger players.

Almost screwed up the Spurs best laid plans in a time where we thought no top tier FA would think about choosing us. On top of that, we came in out of nowhere when his mind was already made up and caused him to double check it. If anything it shows you that McD know's how to put together and implement a game plan. It also shows that there isn't as much distrust towards our owner/front office then we first thought.

Knuckle head #2 possibly on his way out. Or he can decide to grow up and play out the contract he signed. Boo hoo I can't play bball with my brother. His choice.

McD's draft picks (1st rounders at least) have been great so far and each one has started to show improvement/development, including Archie. That's how you build teams. FA is the icing on the cake, not the solution.

Y'all just need patience. Only a few lucky teams can rebuild overnight, we got lucky with Nash and Barkley. It's going to take time!

The perfect trade to me would be Leuer, Mcneal and a lottery protected first round pick for Ryan Anderson. We can nearly absorb his contract.

Yeah I am listening to him too. To hear him say the Suns were so close to getting LaMarcus Aldridge that he was actually looking into seeing how he could move both of his two kids to Phoenix actually makes the whole situation worse as a Suns fan. I did not realize the Suns were truly that close to getting him and were in it until the last minute when he decided to sign with the Spurs.

I am really not that disappointed in not coming to terms with LMA. I actually think he is a bit over rated and turns 30 soon.

I just hope we are able to move both Markieff and Tucker. I really do not want to watch them play for us another season. That was almost a given when we had a chance at LMA. That was my biggest disappointment in not signing LMA.

It will be interesting as to what McDonough ends up doing.

I don't want to jinx him but I like Josh Harrelson. I hope he does well in the summer league.
