Yes he was. As I was typing that post I knew there was going to be some stuff I'd forgotten. Well he seemed fine from what I remember of his NBA career, anyway

I'd rather have Mo on the cheap than our trade which cost a 1st round pick and 6.6 million to fill a backup PG role.

That said, Mo likely was going to pick the Cavs even if we offered more money.

I won't chastise players for turning down extra cash for the opportunity to win a championship, but I don't feel terribly enthused about it either. I enjoy seeing a 30 team league function as such. The NBA is already fairly straightforward enough in terms of who is in contention at the year's start.

I'm probably always destined to be disappointed in that part of the league, though I think competition is thing to strive for.

I don't believe we really need to sign anyone else. We have enough capable players on our roster as is.

In a league where there's guys getting 9 figure contracts, it makes me pretty happy that there's still room for a guy like Jingles to sign for $4.5 million over 2 years and view it as a big payday and being financially set for life.

Look at him, he just looks so happy about something! It has to be about Utah!
