Well he did say if Embiid is healthy so I don't know why you are telling him to stop. And I also agree with him that IF HEALTHY Embiid will be a hall of famer.

KramerDSP didn't say Embiid would be a hall of famer, he said he would have a high ceiling.

He didn't. I said that. He did say a ceiling that is one of the greatest centers of all time so it seems it's implied he also thinks he will have a hall of fame career since the greatest centers ever are hall of famers. Regardless he thinks highly of Embiid as he should.

This is a thread about Embiid. People who are sick and tired of reading about Embiid shouldn't be upset with those of us who will gladly speculate and dream of what may be. We're all made up differently. I choose to be a glass is half full guy. I'm sure I'll inevitably be disappointed but you can't tell me that a healthy Embiid doesn't have the ceiling of being one of the greatest centers of all time. Save you(r) breath.

That may be the case, but unfortunately for you, he can't cure cynicism. Power of positivity, people! :D

Time to start picking players that are not injured and can help our team.

Your tune will change very quickly if Embiid is eventually deemed healthy. His ceiling is that of one of the greatest centers of all time.
Stop. Please just stop.

I'm getting sick of reading about how Embiid will do this and do that.......wait until he actually plays one damn second. For now, he has proved nothing to say he will ever play in one game let alone be one of the greatest ever.

Me thinks you don't know what a ceiling is. You don't have to "prove" anything to have a high ceiling. A ceiling is the best case scenario.

lets put it this way. From what Ive seen from Embiid in college and his physical skill set plus his workout. Embiid is athletic can shoot has great post moves, can run and protect the rim and is 7 ft 2. So whatever you wanna call taht you can call it.

A consistent outside jumper is the only thing he doesn't have. He's almost the complete package.

He's not a 3 but he's 6'9 so he will be smallish as a 4 and with no consistent jumper. It can look great on a mixtape, but I'm not sold. I saw him in person 5x this year at Montverde, not on TV. One game he didn't hit a shot, the next game he hit 2or 3 3-balls. He is definitely not an elite ball handler, he can handle in transition on fast breaks but can't create his own shot unless it's bullying smaller guys to dunk on them. In the 5 games, I saw some amazing things but I also saw moments where he wasn't locked in. Having seen Jaylen Brown in person 3x, I was way more impressed with him. I wouldn't bank on him being an elite star in the NBA. I actually think Rabb can be as good if not better. Let's see how Simmons plays at LSU before we jump to conclusions.

I think that a lot of things can change over the course of a freshman season.

I agree that we should wait until they play in college before we draw too many conclusions about NBA futures, and draft statuses.

I'm not even a big Simmons guy. I prefer Brandon Ingram. But to act like Simmons doesn't have a chance to be a generational talent and that he's "just an athlete" is a bit much.

All about Skal here, even if everyone would freak out if Hinkie took him.

Only a few will freak out, there's no guarantee that Hinkie would of taken Russell or Mudiay if Okafor went to the Lakers.

Elaborate.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome
