I think we will see combos of all of those lineups and players depending on who we are playing and what has worked previously. We will see Rudy at 4 with Rondo running pg. We will see Cousins and Koufos together on the floor and WCS and DMC together on the floor. We'll see Collison, Ben, Beli, Rudy and WCS at times and Rondo, Ben, Casspi, Rudy and DMC. We cant forget that Ray McCallum has worked hard on his game and I expect his to come into camp strong and confident. The comments about the pg position and the addition of Rondo should have lit a fire under his feet.

The point is Karl will mix and match these players because he has the option to and as the year goes on and we gain more experience playing together, aspects of different players game will come to light or improve. We have to accept that there will be growing pains when we have only 6 players that played together under Karl last season. But the talent is there to make a great team. It will take everyone buying into coaches guidance, especially the leaders (DMC, Gay, Rondo and Collison) and guys accepting their role and still giving 100% (Belinelli, Koufos Anderson and Casspi) and guys taking the next step in their game (WCS, Ben, Ray and Moreland).

the denver team that karl coached to a 57-25 record had a starting lineup of koufos, faried, gallo, iggy and lawson... i wouldn't be too worried about our spacing...

I think the 2 point guard thing is a sure bet. I don't think we target Rondo with out that being the goal. I also see gay spending about 15 minutes a night at power forward.

My guess is that our starting unit looks like this.
Collison
Rondo
Mclemore
Gay
Cousins

The thing I like about our roster, in particular, right now is that we have the versatility to adjust our starting lineup on a nightly basis depending on the matchup. We can big, small, quick, tough. Should be nice.

I think Ben starts, but could see less minutes than collison and Marco many games.

We'll see but I wouldn't expect it that often because of the way he plays defense. He's a space defender mostly who slides his feet and tracks his man. If there's one thing he's elite at it's that. There will of course be moments where he'll probably test a guard on a switch or two and create body contact but he's fairly fundamental in his defensive footwork.

This, and to add "who cares?" If WCS gets into foul trouble, we now have enough talent and versatility to fill whatever vacuum is created by having to sit willie down. I for one wouldn't mind giving Moreland an opportunity here and there to see what the young fella can do.

I think more importantly than WCS getting into foul trouble is the sheer fact that we will not be horrendous when Cousins is off the floor. There is enough depth and talent when Cuz is on the bench, to thrive rather than just hang on.
