Why don't the Suns try and reach LMA and maybe try to get him to reconsider?

We weren't able to get that second meeting like Pop did, maybe now's a good time?

Lol forget LMA. It won't happen. But if DJ goes to Clippers then here comes the playoffs for Suns!

What the Clippers are doing is such bad business. I am shocked. This is not the way business is supposed to be handled in the NBA.

If DJ reached out to the Clippers and NOT vice versa AND he believes he was manipulated by his agent because of the agent's personal relationship with Cuban, well, I can see it.

He should fire his agent though.

I'm gonna be really happy if Dallas loses DeAndre, because that means that's one less team competing with us for the 8th spot. Without Dallas, I think it comes down to us and Utah, as it has for so many seasons recently...

Texas has no state income tax. We don't have a championship pedigree. Tier 2 guys like LMA are the best we can do, which is why it sucks to strike out on him. He's gonna be great in San Antonio.

I wonder how McD moves forward.

Although Cali has better weather and atmosphere, it has gotten to the point where players are not longer just going for the surroundings of the city of their choice, it's about who's on the team and do their current roster stand a chance of being a solid contender to contend for the playoff run and having the depth to overcome their opponents. The Lakers are a long way from contending just like the Knicks currently are as well.

This is what would have happened with McDyess if there was a moratorium then. He would have thought about it, and then changed his mind. Manipulation by agents who do not have their clients best interest in mind--especially when the player is fairly simple-minded. Would not be surprised if Cuban asks for the bribe money back from Fegan.

NOLA should at the very least clinch the 7th seed. A rejuvenated OKC takes up a spot and a reloaded Spurs borg pushes more teams down the ladder and climb to the first tier of contenders alongside the Dubs. In addition to the Grizz, Rockets, Clippers who are locks. Thats leaves the last spot up for grabs and I think its possible we get edged out by the Jazz and finish just above the LMA-less Blazers who just gutted their roster

So basically u say Utah will be ahead of us.

I think OKC and Suns are in playoffs while POR and DAL is going down.

Anyway this won't mean anything if DJ stays in Dallas.

The conferences are so flawed. I think every Western Conference playoff team beats any Eastern Conference playoff team in a seven game series except for the Cavaliers. They are the only Eastern Conference team I take seriously.

Yup if DJ doesn't renege the we are by conventional wisdom eliminated from contention barring some catastrophic injury to AD or Wes Matthews becoming crippled to the point of ending his career

Its a joke. Nothing short of complete conference realignment/ getting rid of regional divisions could restore parity to the league but then you would need an entirely new system of seeding for interconference playoff matchups were some sub .500 Eastern teams will still play their r Western couterparts. Or you only give an assured birth to division leaders and the rest are chosen by overall record regardless of conference.
