Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
ESPN sources say that DeAndre Jordan has promised the Mavericks a face-to-tace meeting tonight before he makes a final decision

Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
Sources say Mavs owner Mark Cuban, at present, is the only team official in Houston as we speak but Chandler Parsons believed to be en route

Just checked, tweets don't have the verified check next to them when you open them up like that and there's no other accounts with that name on Twitter, don't think that's even possible. Was probably real, but deleted.

That looks like a verified checkmark opened up like your is. Fake.

Ah, OK. I think it's the way I opened it, just expanded it on the timeline. Opened it the other way and now I'm seeing it, good.

Either way, whatever happens whether he stays with the Mavs or go back to the Clippers, Deandre will still be a joke and the whole drama would still be hilarious. I actually don't know what would be more funnier at this point, Deandre going back to the Clippers or still staying in Dallas after all the begging the Clippers team is showing.

If the Clippers had even a competent replacement I think they would have told DeAndre sorry but that ship has sailed. The fact that they know they have no shot at a title without him lead me to believe they are fine taking the PR and reputational hit in order to contend for that ship.

Yeah, my bad. I actually was referring to the Rockets.

You realize the rockets didn't actually tweet that, right?

Yes, they did.

I think it is very low class of the Clippers to recruit a guy that's verbally committed to another team and if Jordan changes his mind the Mavs should file tampering charges. The guy staying in LA cost them the chance at other players.

Don't see why DJ couldn't add a no-trade clause too. Spice that contract up.

Who else thinks, that on their vacation, it was Lebron, Wade and heck, even Melo that changed CP's mind. They all knew DJ's value. The only person stubborn enough to not see it was CP.

That'd be hilarious if Chris Broussard had this big elaborate plan to distract everyone just to break that story. It wouldn't even shock me.

If he was certain about going to LA, he wouldn't be taking the meeting.

If DJ finally stays in LA, that's karma working on Cuban who was involved in the CP3 to Lakers fiasco.

The Clippers didn't officially break any rule, but by unfollowed moral NBA ethics, it's a no-no...

LeBron controls the league! I honestly wouldn't be too surprised though tbh, all three of those guys have messed with the Mavs, whether it be in-game or free agency lol.
