Pretty sure Fegan would strongly suggest that he needed to be a man and have that meeting. Even if its just to say sorry guys I know this screwed you over but I gotta stay in LA. I made a big mistake.

I smell new rules coming down the pipe after this debacle. Clippers already are the reason for the flopping fines, and now they're taking it one step further.

So the Clippers are doing this after realizing Javale McGee doesn't have a brain?

Thats no guarantee, it would also be improper if he changed his mind and didnt tell the Mavs in person

The Clippers didn't officially break any rule, but by unfollowed moral NBA ethics, it's a no-no...

It's funny how people want to selectively apply those "unwritten ethics" to a franchise they hate but not to the player who's acting like a little bitch.

I'm sure that DeAndre would tell Fegan that's why he gets paid if he was sure he was going to LA.

I hope Mavs fans get over this more quickly than Lakers fan with that. Especially since Cuban didn't actually have anything to do with that decision. He complains about all kinds of things the league ignores, but suddenly he's the puppet master there?

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
DJ and Blake spoke several times before DJ committed to the Mavs. DJ had real concerns Blake would get traded or leave in 2 years

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
I'm told by several sources Blake told DJ to make his own decision and he's support him either way. When he told him he was going (cont'd)

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
(cont'd) Blake said he was happy for him if DJ was happy. Essentially, that he understood and they'd still be friends.

Yep people only have an issue with this because its the Clippers. There wouldn't even be a thread if it was any other franchise....

If he goes back on his word, how he does it is of little consequence.

This is all on Parsons if DJ goes back to LA.

The job ain't over til the ink is dry. Once you get the verbal agreement you take that guy out to celebrate. It's all strippers, booze, pills and hovercrafts til it's time to go sign. And if someone's phone 'accidently' gets 'lost' so much the better.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I think we should change the title to Deandre having second thoughts as it was clear he sought the clips out, not visa versa

The irony? That whole fiasco led to Cp3 joining the Clippers.

This is why I'm a huge fan of Griffin. There was 0 news of him being hurt or disappointed when Jordan did commit, but those guys are CLOSE, he could probably reel him back in now.

BOOM. SAUCE BOMB

Oh, sorry, wrong thread.

He finally broke news, took woj and everyone else being distracted but he actually did it.

That'd be hilarious if Chris Broussard had this big elaborate plan to distract everyone just to break that story. It wouldn't even shock me.

" So uh deandre I hear you're clippers teammates...uh they really miss you." - Broussard

" Really " - Jordan

" That sonny weems story is mine! I mean Chris Paul promised high-fives"

Broussard rubs sauces together with a devious smile.
