The job ain't over til the ink is dry. Once you get the verbal agreement you take that guy out to celebrate. It's all strippers, booze, pills and banana boats til it's time to go sign. And if someone's phone 'accidently' gets 'lost' so much the better.

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
I'm told by several sources Blake told DJ to make his own decision and he's support him either way. When he told him he was going (cont'd)

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
(cont'd) Blake said he was happy for him if DJ was happy. Essentially, that he understood and they'd still be friends.

Blake is a man, DJ is a scared child.

DeAndre meeting with Dallas tonight guarantees he'll go back to the Clippers. Such a meeting wouldn't be necessary if he had already said no to the Clippers entourage earlier in the day.

It's funny how people want to selectively apply those "unwritten ethics" to a franchise they hate but not to the player who's acting like a little bitch.

Yep people only have an issue with this because its the Clippers. There wouldn't even be a thread if it was any other franchise....

yeah, clearly, like if LeBron decided to sign with a team that has cap space now, a thread wouldn't even be made about it.

Technically he was still meeting with Dalllas today to sign the contract anyways.

I think the writing is on the wall, he's going back. Man, I hope that Matthews tweet was the real deal, we need to tank. I mean, it sucks for the big German, but it's time.

How so? After all the drama he's caused by wavering on his decision, and after Cuban and Parsons flew out, he pretty much has no choice but to tell them his final decision in person either way.

Pretty sure Fegan would strongly suggest that he needed to be a man and have that meeting. Even if its just to say sorry guys I know this screwed you over but I gotta stay in LA. I made a big mistake.

I can perfectly see him change his mind again if they try hard to convince him lol

Which means that Blake didn't commit to staying with the Clippers when his contract is up. Unless I'm reading that wrong.

Look, DeAndre should sign a two-year deal with a PO in the second year wherever he signs.

If we lose both DJ and Mathews, I would like to see the Mavs trade Dirk to Phoenix to end his career with a team with playoff aspirations.

I hope Mavs fans get over this more quickly than Lakers fan with that. Especially since Cuban didn't actually have anything to do with that decision. He complains about all kinds of things the league ignores, but suddenly he's the puppet master there?

Where did I say he was the puppet master? He just complained and tried to take down a trade that was totally fair, indeed the Hornets ended up getting a far worse package from the Clippers in Gordon, Kaman and Aminu

What a big friggin baby. CP3 better start sharing those high fives, or he'll change his mind again and start crying.

It sounds more like a final second rebuttal attempt to me, but he seems to be heavily leaning on LAC.

Pretty sure IF that happened he wouldnt want to go to the Suns. Theres a bunch of other teams that have a better shot at a title

It would be incredibly bitch made if Jordan goes back. I liked that Mavs team and how it shaped the West.

you could have stopped there.
