Happy for DJ.

Time for us to move on and tank hard. What people forgot was that DJ might not have made us contenders but he was supposed to be part of a Dallas core moving forward and give Dirk a respectable send off. Oh well. Good try Cubes and GM Parsons.

Keep an eye on the skies.

My sources tell me that Cuban is planning a HALO jump that should have him landing on DJ's roof right at 11:59 PM. At that moment Dirk cuts the power to the house and Cuban enters through that part of the roof being repaired wearing night vision goggles and carrying a rifle filled with enough tranquilizers to bring down a rhino. Cuban takes out the Clippers representatives and Parsons jumps through the back bay window on a horse where he'll grab DJ and they'll ride off to safety where the contract is waiting.

Keep in mind that my "sources" are all in my imagination...but that should at least get me on par with Broussard.

This is ridiculous and rather shameful by the Clippers. The NBA needs to make sure this kind of bush league move doesn't happen again and the Clippers should lose some draft picks.

Clippers are playing some prison shower room level of defense right now.

Absolutely nothing is getting inside, unannounced.

Cant wait for the DeAndre rule : Cannot force a player to sign a contract by cornering player in their own home.

Wait no, it should be named the Clip rule

It's happened before the Suns locked Mcdyess in a hotel room to keep the Nuggets from talking him into returning.

I bet DeAndre called the Clippers after the Mavs told him he had to make 1000 free throws per day.

Going to be an interesting press conference, wherever it is.

Isn't Chris Paul the president of the players' Union? Not a great look to be helping a team try and end run a player's agent and pressure him into signing.

Good luck with that.

+1. There must be a valid contract to establish a tortious interference claim. Good luck proving that, especially in light of the fact that, during the moratorium, players and teams may negotiate terms, but may not agree to such terms.

And, if any contract was tortiously interfered with, it wasn't Fegan's agent-principal relationship with Jordan, but rather Jordan's agreement with the Mavericks. How could Fegan bring a TI claim against the Clippers if he has no privity?

He's referring to the contract between Jordan and his agent.

Good luck proving any damages though. Anyhow there's no way Fegan sues the Clips and no way this is a winnable case.

The old Simpsons episode where Bart gets rid of Santa's Little Helper for a new dog, Laddy, then ends up wanting SLH back:

The only way this gets crazier is if deandre calls the cops, and the cops show up, and are laker fans...
