Considering his known inconsistency, this is about what I would expect. I fear for our bench's defense (Lin+Kaminsky defending pick and rolls sounds a lot like hell) but for the money we'll be paying him it's a great deal IMO.

One of my Lakers friends is blasting me on facebook, but hes like most of the other Laker fans.. If they are with you they're great. If they aren't "oh God thank the Lord hes finally gone he sucks anyway"

Nonsense, I don't listen to them.

Hes not getting starter minutes. Im not even a Kemba fan and I know this.

I don't see how else they would be able to convince Lin to come to Charlotte for $2M per.

Facebook is more family friendly, although it still gets interesting. I don't use the same vocabulary since I don't want to get abandoned by my family, but they still hate what I say.

Watch Jeremy Lin be the first Hornet on this roster to make the all-star team due to the stupid fan voting.

My best guess at the new rotation. 10 man rotation, since I don't see Clifford using more than 10 on a regular basis.

PG: Kemba (34), Lin (14)
SG: Batum (22), Lamb (14), Lin (12)
SF: MKG (30), Batum (10), Marvin (8)
PF: Zeller (22), Kaminsky (18), Marvin (4), MKG (4)
C: Jefferson (30), Hawes (14), Kaminsky (4)

Total Minutes

Kemba 34
MKG 34
Batum 32
Jefferson 30
Lin 26
Zeller 22
Kaminsky 22
Lamb 14
Hawes 14
Marvin 12

That 2nd unit will feature a lot of Lin/Frank and Lin/Hawes pick and roll/pop + one of either MKG or Batum out there for some defense.

Roberts, Daniels, Hairston, Harrison + another big will round out the bench.

Funny, if we took Noel instead of Zeller a few years ago, this roster would be nasty.

I like Zeller, but we need a rim protector bad.

There are options out there to be signed still: Emeka Okafor is supposedly healthy and waiting for the right situation, Jordan Hill is still unsigned, Jeff Withey wouldn't be a bad stop gap, and McGee is also still out there if we're willing to take the risk. If Emeka really is healthy I'd love to have him back in Charlotte.

I really didn't see this coming and love how tight lipped our FO was about this signing. I think that he is a great back up and a steal at this price. Now we just need our big man!

Jeremy Lin will be a serious candidate for 6th man of the year.

Lin has been in two horrible situations in Houston and Lakers, in terms of fitting his style of play. In Houston he was stuck watching Harden, playing off the ball. And LA was just a mess last year. Lin is a guy that you have to give him the ball and let him do pick and rolls over and over. That's his strength.

Welcome to the Jeremy Lin experience.

Seriously, he's a steal for $2mil per year, for his sake I hope the 2nd year is a player option. He's a borderline starting PG so that money is almost insultingly bad for him.

He is PERFECT for the roster.

Just get rid of Marv and Roberts but I'm being greedy.

great freaking signing at that price. Got a feeling we're going to be adding a few Jeremy Lin fanboys to the board. Will be interesting seeing them argue with the Kemba kids.

Excellent signing of Lin. Also glad to see he is a Christian and willing to share his faith.

He fits everything we could expect as a reserve PG, and can step right in when Kemba is injured or playing poorly.

Agree that Hill would be a good pick quip if we indeed still have the MLE. I prefer we trade Al, or at least Marvin and PJ away. Nobody wants our trash.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
