ESPN sources say Mavs owner Mark Cuban has begun to notify people within the organization that DeAndre Jordan is staying with Clippers

This is so bad for the league. Huge ramifications. Completely screws over the Mavericks organization dramatically. Impacts not only their team, but their sponsors, fans, and plan for the future as well. And to see Blake Griffin tweet a photo making a joke of the whole situation about not letting anyone into the house is embarrassing. The Clippers organization top to bottom is showing their true colors. What a disgrace. I hope all the owners come together to make sure the Clippers get punished somehow. This is not right. Just imagine if Aldridge agreed to sign with the Suns and then him and the Spurs pulled something like this. It would be far worse than him not agreeing in the first place. I have never seen anything like this happen.

I don't disagree with most of what you said, but the whole reason they have the moratorium is for cases just like this. Supposed to happen before giving intent, but it is meant to be a period of reflection, decision-making and zen. :-D

Cuban would never do it. Ever.

Still, if that happened, I'd push for Amare, sell Nash's corpse on the prospect of playing 5 mpg as a backup so he can PnR with STAT and pick and pop with Dirk like once a twice a game and just roll with the weirdest, most nostalgia laden squad ever.

If Mavs blow and suns are on the cusp, I could see it happening at the deadline. But ya, I don't think dirk or Cuban would think about it right now

Morris + a protected first rounder is fair value at this point

Cuban would never entertain that trade though in principle without assurance from Dirk, which I'd imagine has a no-trade clause at this point in his career. I highly, highly doubt Dirk would leave his team.

This DJordan situation is bad in many levels... Money comes and goes, but a man word/promise is all he has.. Once you lose your word, you looses everything. .

haha what the frank? why not. Might as well get Marion to unretire too. Also J-Rich and Amundson are free agents. Tucker, Leuer, and a second rounder can be given to the Magic for Frye. '

lol what is embarrassing about it? Sports is just entertainment at the end of the day. Nothing wrong with injecting humor into an otherwise awkward situation.

This is seriously so messed up. I hope no team does business with the clippers this season and moving forward.

So which team is replacing Dallas for playoffs now? Cuz if Chandler isn't a scumbag and comes to us as agreed, the Macs are so screwed.

Did u really want Lin to play 10 mins? Also i don't think he would accept that.

this is exactly correct. common sense actually, all we need is that 10 minutes, Lin deserves more and probably wants more

Guy will play wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more in CHA

No, no, no to Dirk. I like to admire him from afar, but no-Bueno having him on the Suns.

I think Price's contract as the veteran minimum doesn't count against the cap -- because how many teams, like the Heat with Lebron, Wade and Bosh, signed veteran guys when they were clearly over the cap. I think Lins contract would count against the cap.

Plus, Ronnie Price is also about the locker room. He knows he may not play much - but will be ready when called upon and also will probably be good in the locker room for the young guys like Booker to talk too during games.

Sounds like the Suns are really looking to forge a defensive identity.

Chandler, Weems and Price can all play D, add that to Tucker, Bledsoe and Len and you've got potentially 6 rotation players that play above average D.
