Call me crazy, but I have a feeling that Wiggins will go down as a top 5 wing player of all time, and if he reaches his full potential will be in the same conversation as MJ. He has great length, elite athleticism, body control, and perhaps most importantly a good feel for the game (bbiq). An overlooked physical tool is hand size, something that greatly helps players attack the rim without losing the ball, and Wiggins definitely does not lack that trait (just look at the way he palms the ball in his dunks, reminds me of Dr. J or Jordan).

Sure the first half of his rookie season was underwhelming, but going from December to April, the only rookie of the modern era that looked better (advanced metrics aside) was LeBron. Wiggins will never have the court awareness or passing ability of LeBron, but with teammates like Towns, Lavine, and Rubio that won't be too much of a problem. What he lacks in playmaking ability, Wiggins makes up with his "basketball athleticism" which surpasses even that of a young LeBron. To summarize this tangent, Andrew as an athlete reminds me of a bigger, slightly more athletic Michael Jordan. To boot he has a good frame that will allow him to gain weight without losing too much of his first step.

The one knock against Wiggins is his motor. This point held some merit when he was a Jayhawk and early on last season, but Wiggins really has proven his doubters wrong by demonstrating tenacity and a drive (no pun intended) to attack the rim. Throw in KG and the other motivated young players on the roster to keep him going and I think we have a generational talent on our hands.

Overall, I'm going to make a bold claim and predict that Wiggins will average 25ppg/6rpg/3apg/1.5spg/1bpg next season on 48%+ shooting. If you haven't done so yet, watch his 2014-2015 field goals video and tell me that I'm wrong! :D

Probably not big news but has anyone seen that he is starting to grow dreads?

Yeah, I noticed he was growing his hair out in that video with him and Lavine.

getting Towns with the #1 pick has kind of overshadowed Andrew a bit, but I'm very excited to see him this coming season

He was down in the Dominican during the offseason so I'm hoping it's just a summer thing, I like when he rocks the mini fro.

So I was browsing the 76er's threads to see how Okafor was looking to them, they've already got posts speculating how much better they think he'll be compared to Wiggins. :D

They've got some serious WDS (Wiggins Derangement Syndrome) going on over there!

A lot of those 76er fans are

It's only a matter of time until they start talking about how bad Towns is and how Okafor is the greatest thing to walk this planet next to Embiid

And sometimes it feels like we've got 76DS going on here. Let them think what they think.

How he asked the question should tell you all you need to know about that poster.

Heck, if he can develop into a top 5 player of this era, then I'd gladly take that. I'm not sure about top 5 wing player of all time, although that'd obviously be awesome.

If Wiggins can average 20-22 ppg, 5-6 rpg & 3.5 apg with a PER of at least 20 and at least 400 FTA next season, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

I can honestly say I haven't seen one post about any Sixer player that was brought up out of the blue like i've seen in some 6ers threads regarding Wiggins..

But anyway, who cares. Back to talking about Wiggins

So yeah...Wiggins working on those ball handling skills..

Why compare Okafor to Wiggins? Seems like a strange debate to me.

Was referring bringing up Sixers fans, not Sixer players
