Gerald Green has size, athleticism, can shoot the three, is under 30-years old, and probably within the HEAT's bargain basement price range of affordability.

WOW THAT'S HUGEEEE

For how much?

That's awesome, the best option we could have hoped for.

Rio is so gone.

Green, if used correctly, is a 6th man of the year type talent. Questionable IQ, Spo needs to really coach him to get the best out of him, but if he does - He's got real talent.

wow it's for the minimum as well!

@KBergCBS: Gerald Green's 1-year deal with Miami is for the minimum, source says. Green had been a target of Dallas before DeAndre Jordan backed out.

Says the man lauding Thornton as our saviour a few minutes ago.

Green is an okay signing but don't overestimate it. His defence is suspect and his IQ is lower than SupercoolBeas.

Cool. He's a little erratic at times, but this is about he best we could've hoped for as far as young veteran wing. Especially for the minimum.
