It's nice that a historically racist organisation like the Clippers is paying non-white players.
I don't why a franchise imbued with such racism was allowed to exist.

Some are trying to put this into a business perspective, it is burning bridges that little of us can afford to do. We aren't making millions of dollars that allows us to be kids. In the real world if you did something like this, you better hope and pray that those you crossed don't control your future one day.
Jordan can be who he is and it won't matter, he will still get paid in the future.

I have seriously lost all respect for DeAndre. What a coward azz b*tch move. At least be a man about it and have the balls to tell the owner and organization you just f*ck over that you are going to go against your word and decide to change your mind. Really shows you the type of person Jordan and the clippers organization is the way they handled themselves last night. At least have the decency to let the maves know what going on.
The fact deandre just straight up destroyed the mavs free agency changes and them basically stop going after other potential FA's the man doesn't have the balls to man up and tell them he decided to change his mind. Wow, what a b*tch.

Tbh, I thought the visual of Mark driving around was hilarious. I think there was even one report that Ballmer answered the door and they got into a shoving match.
It sucks for us obviously but this was like an "episode of 24" entertaining, at least.

Personally, I think the Mavs dodged a bullet there. You have to pretty mentally weak to not even have the courtesy to call and explain your decision.

Deandre may be a confused and immature coward, whatever, let him be. What doesn't sit well with me is if none of the Clippers organization even suggest to Deandre to inform the Mavs? Griffin's just a kid so I'll let him slide, but Paul, Doc, and Ballmer should know better. IF they actually encouraged this behavior to their benefit, I hope they rot in mediocrity forever. I know this is ultimately on Deandre, but that's some disgusting environment if what I'm assuming is true.

How does it (Cuban driving around texting or not) matter in anyway? When will Broussard try to act like he is a real reporter? Why does anyone need this reality TV stuff?
What an idiot!

I've always been indifferent on the Clippers. They used to be so bad I could never really dislike them. But then all of the flopping, and then the ugly terrible new jerseys/logo. And now what Jordan just did to the Mavs. Easy to hate these guys now.

You would think one person in that room would tell him to do the respectful thing. Even if it is just to call and cancel the meeting and say that you will remain with the Clippers.
I don't want to call DJ a child, but that was childish. Doc, or someone far older should have told him to make the call. The only way I can see hi doing this is if he felt Fegan and Cuban messed with his mind or something. Otherwise, why show such disrespect to people who wined and dined you?

Even if he didn't want to talk to Fegan or Cuban... he could have called up Matthews or Parsons whom were his alleged friends? Or even better his childhood hero Dirk Nowitzki whom took time out of his vacation to recruit him.

I don't think Jordan really understands the ethics of giving your words. Someone needs to tell the players from this point that if you give a verbal commitment, then it's as good as signing.

I'd say it's quite an ethical taboo to go back on a commitment like this.
The NBA FA is a domino chain, where there are very few eggs to put in your basket. Maybe they could've gotten Monroe, paid more to Lin or done a S&T before the Wes deal. DJ and the Clips are a bunch of fools -- hope they get shunned by the NBA.

Don't paint the other players with that brush. They all understand that.
And its really not even about him changing his mind. Its about notifying the Clippers that he was having 2nd thoughts and not the Mavs. And then not having the respect to respond to Cuban or Parsons at all. Its a big decision. He should make sure he makes the right one. But just be a man about it.

Re: DeAndre Jordan re-signs with the Clippers, DJ rescinds agreement with the Dallas Mavericks
Being honest, Jordan made the right decision. He's staying with a team that could win it all and getting paid more to do so. He wasn't going to win in Dallas and would have been paid less to lose.
