Franchises usually drool for players who are plus players as well.

That's true. But its not an either or situation or even something that is a major factor, and many of you have seemed to convince yourselves that he does not hold the value he obviously does.

I still don't think he does. The only offer is from a division rival likly to tank.

Its not the only offer, its the only offer sheet he has signed. Which is just financial leverage and something we knew would most likely happen.

Sometimes i think some of you guys only want to see what you want. You focus too much on his defense and attempting to devalue him for us, that you fail to realize franchises drool for a guy who will put up 20-10 w/high percentages and in the post, in under 30min.

Some of us like players who help the team. We're strange like that.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Jones yes. Augustin no. Not sure Cam's ready to run the show yet.

The Thunder don't have to make any moves now. They will wait till the Trade Deadline to make their cap moves for the Lux Tax.

We have to open roster spots. We're at 15 before Payne if we re-sign Kanter.

Seems like Kanter desires to stay, but just for the maxium amount of money.

So we'd try and deal Augustin after matching Kanter? I'm not sure I like that.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Yah, because a 20-10 23 year old who is still developing and the entire league see's his value as a... nightmare for other teams if he signs with OKC, offers no value and the professionals are just "strange like that".
But hey, apparently a handful of people on message boards seem to understand nit picking a couple advanced statics more than those who developed said systems and are paid millions to come to the proper conclusions.

I cant see us moving DJ until next season. This season they'll just take the hit on the cash issue. But i defeinitely see them trying to ditch PJ3, Novak and maybe Waiters. Waiters would probably come later on in the season though. He is an ideal 2/3 for Donovan.

Please trade PJ3 to Knicks we need young long players and 76ers are annoying

Presti in a quote earlier said (per Slater over an hour ago...aka before the offer was received by Thunder):

"We haven't received an offer sheet as of yet. But our intention has been to match offers on Enes and nothing has changed in this regard. Enes expressed his desire to be a part of the Thunder in our meeting with him yesterday and we have plnas in advance should he receive an offer such as the one that has been reported.?

What is the plan?

Royce on ESPN earlier

Obviously Thunder want to get under the apron...so PJ, Novak and possibly Augustin or Waiters out...
