Should've jumped in here when I signed up recently.

About me:

Huge fan of all sports but NFL probably takes the cake for me. Big time Panthers fan, though I grew up a Jets fan (pre-Panthers era). Just stepped down as Editor at a blog for a Panthers fan site over at FanSided. Now, it's just a hobby.

I was born in NY, went to school at NCSU, moved back up to NYC, down to Charlotte, and now - Seattle since the end of May.

My ride or die dog is a 5-year old lab named Jeter, and he is the best. About to jump on a road trip on Wednesday with him and drive my car that I left behind on the initial move, back to Seattle.

For the Hornets, I followed the original team when I was younger. LJ & BD were my two faves. Current Hornets fan since the Bobcat inception.... I actually added the NBA channel for 1 day so I could watch the expansion draft up in NYC. Kemba is my guy on this team, with MKG as a close 2nd.

Glad to be on the board.... Long time lurker.

Don't think I've posted in here yet. What it dooooo. Just finished freshman year at App (the same school it seems like 50% of this forum went to - which is awesome). I love the Hornets but I'm also a huge soccer and football fan. Soccer clubs I support are Liverpool and the Charlotte Independence. Football Panthers obviously. Other things I enjoy well I'm a huge fan of rap music. Kendrick Lamar is probably my favorite rapper right now, Kanye West is my favorite musician of all time. Idk what else to say that's very interesting about me.

Honestly, I can't recall. Was back in the early to mid 90s, dropped off after the original franchise moved, only just getting back into it now we're back baby

Just the 90s in general I think

Just some random nickname a mate came out with once

Gee whiz... back in the day, Muggsy, I'd say. Didn't mind Mourning either.

Why did you become a Hornets fan?
In the 1990's I hated Magic & Bulls and found them highly over-rated as a youngster so Hornets seemed like the best team outside of those two to support due to the bright colours, cool mascot and of course Muggsy who showed the 5'3 10 year old me that 5'3 foot players can be elite!

What did you study (or are you studying)? Studied journalism in the past but currently studying engineering hoping to expand into electrical engineering in the coming year

Compare your game to current/former Bobcat? Henderson, I'm all about the midrange, not the most efficient but it's how I play, working on stretching the range out though!

Why did you become a Bobcats fan? In 2010 I decided I wanted to be apart of the basketball scene, I watched game after game of many teams and always found myself wanting the bobcats the win the most, even though we weren't

Favorite piece of Bobcats history, relevant or irrelevant? Drafting walker, the excitement he brought was amazing, was always eager to see him play because I his aggressive style and with the chance of him going absolutely crazy and dropping big numbers, still waiting for the consistency!

Favorite other NBA players of all-time? MJ, even when I wasn't in to basketball Like I am now I always looked upto him as being an extreme athlete.

that is awesome!! I speak Spanish fluently and interviewed him when I was working at a Spanish radio station. He was such a nice guy. I hated we didn't keep him around longer. I thought he was better than a lot of our players!
