I know he's been busy, but McD should have talked to Markieff personally.

Actually by a few months...Man I didn't realise my Mirza mancrush had surpassed my Anthony Randolph one!

Dang I thought I started the Mirza fan club but you got me beat! At least you And1'd me :D

I knew I liked Weems when he was younger cos I was living in Toronto when he was traded there...but yikes, CALLED him too! haha. Also 'fluid' and 'Josh Howard' featured far too much in my commentary!

Okay we get it you like Sonny Weems...... relax with the research of a five year old post; you got a lot of time on your hand buddy. I think that is kind of obsessive.

Just kidding Tastic. I was just posting how the board would have responded if it were me looking for congratulatory praise from this board.......sometimes it is so bias it is nauseating. Calling it like I see it. 8-)

Nah. McD is not the comforting ego feeding type. If he tried to be it would come off as fake. That conversation is right up Babby's alley.

A very well spoken, articulate, and pragmatic guy; in short............he is calm, cool ,and collective. I like to hear him speak and explain the process, it makes complete sense. I trust this guy will do what's best for the team.

So, you're saying McD is ACTUALLY a Borg spy sent to take over the NBA--"Resistance is futile, McD WILL assimilate you!!"

What I got out of this is that he DID try reaching out to him but was unsuccessful. It sounds like nobody was able to.
Kieff needs to grow up.

EDIT: Fixed grammar

Just gotta search old post, relatively easy JMac.
I don't think I ever talked about Weems (gonna do a search now). Talk about Earl Clark though man. He had all the tools to develop into a solid 3/4 tweener. He just seems like the kinda guy that doesn't take life or basketball too seriously.

Really? I thought he said he talked to him, then corrected himself, and said someone from the team talked to him. I didn't get the impression that he tried and was unsuccessful. Maybe I misheard what he said?

Definitely not tripping off of your re post; that's cool.

Bias meaning some people get called out on things and some don't, I leave it at that; don't want to get into a finger pointing contest by providing examples. Just wanted to go on record. People know what I mean, if not, then maybe it's my paranoia.

He tried, but he couldn't. I think that is what McDonough said.

Not even so much that. I felt there was a hidden message where he was basically saying, 'we tried but we couldn't reach him'. I was waiting for the interviewer to ask him if anyone at all was in contact with him.

Relax. I am not talking about Weems.....lol. I was just talking in general. I have no idea of Weems' game or playing ability. I'd have to go off what you guys say and the Raps board.

 sorry Jmac, I was talking to Tastic in my second paragraph. I watched a couple vidoes of Weems, but I'm not too impressed quite honestly.

 I am not one to profess myself as the grammar police, but I would have written.

What I got out of THAT WAS he did try to REACH out ..... It Sounded like.....

I would have used from what I could infer/ascertain......... It sounded like no one was......

But again, I am not the grammar police; as long as your point isn't lost in translation, you are okay by me. Internet English teacher are the worse, especially when they don't know how to write themselves.

Well a lot of Raps' fans like him. So.........I don't have anything to say; his highlights don't display enough one way or another.

Weems seems like a typical McD player. He is looking for players who can shoot, but have some defensive abilities. I am encouraged that the directions seems to be toward a balanced offensive/defensive team.

I learned more in your reply than most of my elementary school years. :)

If I slow down and re-read, I can figure a lot of that stuff out. What I fixed was just so blatantly off that I couldn't stand looking at it.

I know people complain about BSOTS a lot but I think it's awesome that they produce all of this content FOR FREE. These guys don't get paid by SBNation, they don't get paid by AZCentral or Arizona Sports 98.7 or any other local news outlet. It's 100% volunteerism, and it's awesome.

Yes, they are true fans, they just love their team. I really value their job.
