Ive liked JSMOOTH since his time in Atlanta. For a PF, he passes great, rebounds great, and was a great defender. Honestly i dont know how much of that remains true today. The thing that has really brought him down is his 3 point shooting. He had terrible percentages. He preforms well in the paint, but for some reason he loves to jack up 3 point shots. I think he could have kept his value high if he gave up on shooting 3's.

Now with all that being said, honestly, i would give him a shot. He would be the best rebounding/defending PF that we have had in a loooooooong time. Maybe Coach Horny could help him fix his broken shot? Who knows.

I never want Josh Smith on the Suns. I was at the game when he elbowed Raja Bell and it was a flagrant foul 2 and immediate ejection. I do not want that guy on my favorite team.

Nah it's easy, less than a minute. Go to your profile, then my posts, then just search with a term or player name and it lists them like that pic

Its funny how that works. If Raja did that to him, you'd still love Raja wouldnt you? I mean the fact that Raja clotheslined Kobe (and all around was a dirty player), made us love him even more.

I think every team has to have that kind of enforcer on the team.

Yeah but I just do not like Smith because of it haha. I do not want him on the Suns. He has a lot of talent but he incredibly inconsistent.

Would much rather have Markieff than Smith, despite his issues. We're still in a rebuild. Josh Smith needs to be playing for a team in win-now mode.

Besides, what do we do with Teletovic, Kieff, and Leuer then? I don't mind planting Leuer on the bench full-time, but Teletovic and Kieff are better fits for our system than Smith already, and I see more upside with both due to spacing, which is a huge part of our offense and a huge benefit of getting better shooters this offseason given our guards can slash.

Holy crap. That would be FANTASTIC. Let's get rid of Keef for a guy that actually has the balls to go grab a rebound every now and then.

Make it a 3 team deal. Give up Keef to a team that will pick in the 20-30 range and have them send their pick to OKC. Then we can send a top 13 (we must keep getting the 13th pick) protected pick to OKC for McGary.

Thoughts?

Would rather get Zeller than McGary.

Wonder if we could trade next year's first for Zeller, get a pick for Kieff to replace said first, and go from there.

I do like McGary though.

Celtics fans hate Zeller. I haven't watched his play though.

Aren't they talking about the other Zeller? The good one?

PS no thanks to Smith. We've just purged the bad attitudes and low IQ's from the team, no way we jeopardise that by tKing on a vet that won't add anything to the long term growth of this team.

I don't have the quote right now, but Paul Coro said last week that we have 0 interest in Josh Smith. We don't want him.

OK, since FA is slowing down, time to look for crazy trade ideas, again, and here's my latest:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nsfuule

Now, at 1st glance, you're likely getting the "What in DEE hell is NavLDO smokin'", but it's late, I'm tired, and I'm generally not very good at this based upon previous responses to my trade ideas, but here goes the explanation...and keep your 'eyes on the prize', which in this case, is adding Jabari Parker, while dumping a frustrated and upset Twin, yet getting him closer to his brother, and making the Bucks an instant contender in the East.

For us, we take the downgrade in PG--kind of. I mean, he's not as gifted defensively, but he's no slouch. He's also Unselfish and a pretty decent passer, which would be an upgrade over Bledsoe, but his shooting prowess is where we would take another hit, and he does TO the ball a bit too much, but so does Bledsoe.

But we get that 'shooter' McD desires in Mayo for one season. Between he and Weems, Booker is likely in good hands

But ultimately, we're looking for Parker and his potential in this trade, with also getting that 'addition by subtraction' by deleting the 'distraction' in an unhappy Kieff. In Milwaukee, Kieff's happier, and the Bucks have a talented PF on a cheap contract.

MCW/Goodwin/Price
Knight/Mayo (or Weems)/Booker (or Goodwin)
Warren/Tucker/Weems
Parker (or Len)/Teletovic/Leuer
Chandler/Len

For the Bucks?

Bledsoe/Bayless/Ennis
Giannis/Vasquez/Vaughn
Middleton/Inglis
Kieff/O'Bryant
Monroe/Henson/Plumlee

Maybe a little light at the Forward positions in depth, but that starting 5 in the East would be money.

Again, for us it's about the future with Parker, and with the prospects of Len, Warren, Knight, and Booker, we might be only a season away from being formidable in the West.

If you've made it this far without laughing or vomiting, I applaud your patience!!

So, which side 'laughs' first?

Bucks laugh first and Hard.

a.) maybe Markieff = MCW/Mayo.....depends on how you value Markieff. Is a disgruntled malcontent, or is a a gifted player waiting to break out since his bro is gone.

b.) Bledsoe<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Parker. When you factor in upside vs. contract....well, their is no contest. We'd have to throw a lot of picks at them to get Parker

c.) for the suns. Mayo is not this shooter we are waiting for. He's not terrible....but he's certainly great.

d.) if we had a hard-on for MCW we'd have traded for him instead of Knight. Straight-up #7 for MCW, and him and Bledsoe would have been our backcourt. Bledsoe at SG on offense, with MCW at SG at defense.

I'll throw out a trade while we're at it:

Suns trade: Markeiff/Tucker
Suns get: Faried/Chandler

Nugs trade: Faried/Chandler
Nugs get: Markieff/Tucker

I'm very down to get McGary. Talk about improving our rebounding big time...

NavLDO, I would do that deal 9 times out of 10. The Bucks would do that trade 0 out of 10 though. Kidd likes MCW, and I believe he has the same agent as Kidd or something like that. The Bucks are already in a good position being in the Eastern Conference and none of their players have hit their peak yet. I would say though, with MCW/Middleton/Giannis/Monroe/Henson where does that leave Jabari?

On another note. I kinda like the way the team is constructed, and I wanna see what it is we can do this season.

Yes, I would do that deal too, but Jabari Parker is untouchable. He has Star potential, he and the Greek Freak are not on the block, no way.
